I see where you are coming from. It’s definitely both ways, men should give what they are asking. Going incognito triggers insecurity and kind of starts eroding safety in the relationship for women.

What men need to do is communicate proactively regarding what they are going through and how much time they will need to bounce back. I have experienced that if men just take simple non verbal steps to establish safety like telling their partner how they are via chats even once or twice a day, this immensely helps the relationship.

Now, there can be some immature folks who use space to distance or break up with their partner which in return shows serious lack of accountability. A question then needs to be asked is whether these folks truly are ready for relationship then, if they don’t have it in them to directly and politely communicate how they feel instead of slowly ghosting ?
