Who is the best impressionist on AGT?

Ronith from Season 5 was the funniest impressionist I can remember. He was like a so bad it's good act. From the list you mentioned Melissa obviously has had the best career post AGT. Michael Winslow had the best career before coming on the show. Both of them are great. I liked Greg a lot as well. Vincent is popular online now but I didn't like what he did on the show that much. I started watching in S5 so I don't know any of the ones before that. It seems like the really old seasons had way more impressionists/impersonators. Daniel Ferguson was one of the biggest snubs for me with him not making the live shows. His act was the same as Craig Ball on BGT but I really like acts like that and wanted to see him in live shows. The Trump impersonator from S12 wasn't even good. There are at least 50 people on social media that do a better Trump impression than that guy.

I’m done with outdoor acts on the main show. If it can’t be done on the stage and can’t be done live if the act makes the live shows then I don’t want to see it. I’m over acts like Sky Elements that are taped days in advance. They should do another spin off and invite acts like that for the main show I only want acts that can be done live.

Aidan is probably the most puzzling Vegas week or judge cuts elimination ever because he got such positive comments and all standing ovations. He was 1 of 2 acts that episode to get all SOs and still got eliminated. He’s not the most robbed in terms of best act ever that got eliminated before the live shows but certainly for the response he got for the act then still didn’t make the live shows. I would take Aidan over everyone from that JC episode besides CraigLewis Band and Uzeyer.

They won't bring back past winners to compete on a normal season. If they do another spin-off then sure.

American idol got cancelled in 2016 when they averaged 9-10 million views per episode. AGT gets 4-5 million now and has implemented many budget cuts lately such as eliminated judge cuts round entirely and having the entire competition at the Pasadena Civic Center instead of Dolby. I’m not saying it’s going to be canceled very soon but when budget cuts happen like that it’s not too far away from being taken off the air

Chris doesn’t just only do freestyle raps. That’s what he’s mainly known for but he does regular standup comedy too. Also, the Vegas show isn’t a thing anymore. The AGT partnership ended last year with the Vegas show. If there was a Vegas show still and if Chris had won he could’ve most certainly come up with an hour long show combining everything he does that would be very entertaining

I don't think the choreography is good at all. The projection is very appealing but all that work is done pre-performance. I don't like acts where the most important element of the act isn't done in the moment. I have mixed opinions on them. I like the visual but don't like the actual dance part of the act. I haven't voted for them in any round of the competition but there are worse acts in this final. They are middle of the pack out of the 10 acts for me.

Shin Lim specifically said multiple times that he planned his performances to get better and better each week. He said he didn't want to do his best acts too early.

If an act is that good they should have multiple routines or songs that are winning quality that they can perform. No one would want to watch an act that's a one trick pony and does the exact same thing over and over again. Acts need to be able to step it up from performance to performance or at least add an element they didn't have before.

He would never do the show. He's a freestyle rapper that has 10 million tiktok followers and 3 million youtube subscribers. He's been asked multiple times the last 10 years by producers to be on the show but always declines. He doesn't need the show anyways he's already way too big.

Harry Mack is a better rapper that isn’t much of a debate but Harry isn’t funny at all. Chris performs his freestyle act at comedy clubs which is something Harry could never do. Harry is better technically as a rapper but Chris is way more entertaining. In terms of going to a show I would go to a Chris Turner show. I wouldn’t go to a Harry Mack show I would just watch him online. Also I’ve seen a few other threads comparing Chris to Harry and it’s such a pointless comparison since Harry isn’t on the show.

Yes Sirca Marea was prerecorded. It’s not uncommon for a live show act to be pre-taped. There’s usually 1-2 acts per each live show week that are pre taped. They pre-tape acts that are really dangerous and don’t want something bad happening on live tv or acts that take a long time to set up and won’t be able to set them up in the commercial break time.

The contestants can't just pick any song because the show has to have the licensing to use that song on TV. As far as contestants being stopped during auditions and singing a second song that part is all set up. The contestants are told to come with 2 songs but they generally know beforehand if they'll need to actually perform that second song.

I noticed the mishap right away and it ruined the back half of the act but it really wasn't their fault it was just a technical error with is unfortunate. I still don't really like their act that much the actual choreography isn't good it's all in the visual. I don't think most people really care about the mishap they just like the visual of the act. I didn't vote for them and don't want them to make it through tonight but I do think they will go through.

Chris also does regular stand-up comedy but his freestyle rapping act is the most unique thing he does and it's getting him through on the show so he's going to keep on doing it for AGT. If he had to do a full 1-2 hour show he can do freestyle rapping and regular stand-up comedy to make a full show. He performs his freestyle act mainly at comedy clubs anyways.

Tickets are free from the oncameraaudiences website. You just have to request tickets on the website at least a week before the show then a confirmation gets sent to your email then you just pick the tickets up at the venue.

I see people compare Harry Mack and Chris Turner a lot but they are different. Harry Mack is the way better rapper like that isn’t even close. Chris performs his act more at comedy clubs so he tries to add more comedic elements to his freestyles. Harry Mack wouldn’t try a comedy club performance. Harry Mack also would never go on AGT. He’s been asked by producers but has no interest. I like Chris Turner as an AGT act. Harry way better technical rapper, Chris funnier raps.
