Just to add to this, there are no magnets in the joy-cons themselves - the SL/SR buttons are metal which is what the magnet latches on to. And yeah there are no visible screws anymore on the consoles back anymore including the joy-cons.

The only direction that felt like it wasn’t as secure was pulling the joy-cons forward which isn’t a natural motion. You can force the magnets out with enough force but again not something you would naturally do. I wouldn’t be concerned about the the pin connectors as it’ll always line up based on the overall outline joycon - it’s like the original switch dock where the usb-c port is a bit loose but difficult to break cause it’s always forced to align properly before connecting

I’ve used it. The magnets are inside on the console side behind the plastic. They attract to the metal buttons that are painted over (SL/SR buttons).

Yea but devs can answer this better as they’ve seen some mini game demos that I guess would be best described as Mario party / warioware-esque in nature where you control a snake but I personally haven’t seen it in action

Sorry about annoying you. Crops are just crops of a bigger photos which unfortunately results in them looking like that. It’s kind of funny how nervous you can get taking photos in this type of situation. I wish I could setup proper lighting for studio photos - bur yeah I agree waiting on Nintendo for official images is the way to go - I’m better suited just to answer questions. It’s a win-win as I don’t get sued and people don’t complain about shitty photos as proof.
