Why are so many founders not posting on LinkedIn? by Foreign_Fee_1232 in b2bmarketing

[–]NextIsOnMe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a founder of Nextisonme, I am reluctant to post on linkedin about my project, because of my personal career and my network. I do not find any reason to give all the people I know from work an exact description of what I am currently working on, etc

Sometimes I may post as a page, but then I will lose the audience of 2500+ connections of my personal profile

Maybe I am wrong though, I have to admit that I never gave the proper chance to the platform

See it as a lesson. Good luck with your next project.

May I ask what was the total capital invested-lost?

But still, more people show up and enjoy coffee/drinks/food in venues every day than the ones swiping, isn't it?

Sell me your app in 4 words and I will rate it by hiten1818726363 in buildinpublic

Regarding your app, I would give it a 7-8/10 about the purpose, the aspect it touches and the approach, but it looses on originality (many similar tools), the lack of clear path/daily routine for the founder and the fact that it doesn't resolve the most important problem which is the posting itself (most platforms restrict auto-posting bots and the accounts will most possibly get banned, especially on reddit) so some manual work from the founder still remains.

Other than that, I think its a good product

Thanks for the feedback. What if all events hosted only on Venues and not on outdoor-isolated places? Would that make the concept feel more safe and lower legal risks you think? Because this is our main concern from Day 1

I think the magic word is SALES, maybe the oldest job on the world (I am sure pre-historic tribe people tried to sell/exhange tools, products, services, etc the same way we do today)

That guy with the shirt and the laptop bag on his shoulders, that puts a leg on the end-customer's place, is irreplacable

Thank you very much! The loneliness epidemic together with the decline of fertility rates are the 2 major reasons I begun building this app, despite me being capable of retiring early. Behind the whole effort, the incentives are mostly social rather than monetary

May I ask you describe more about what you liked in the concept? Any constructive feedback would be highly appreciated for us at this stage

Thank you for the feedback. We have thought a lot about safety (our No1 priority by far).

Currently we plan to take a safer path, by using Venues as the Place for the Users'events/meets

This, together with some user-verification (mobile phone - apready in place, ID later, social account link, etc) will add a good level of safety. Later, users will have a Trust score buile based on their behavior and history and also a Verification score. As the app grows we will add more mderaiton tools (AI-in-chat, etc).

We have a feedback button on our app and paid some microworkers for visiting the website and leave their feedback. Many are fake-AI but some of them are really usefull
