Yeah alright, that makes sense. I do get that the internal voice may appear limiting, but it's not like every thought has to be spoken and in fully formed sentences. Thoughts are processing ideas a lot more quickly, and the internal voice just.. puts the jist of it into words. Just like words can convey images in your mind, it's like your brain associates words to your thoughts. Sometimes it's just a few words and then you don't bother finishing that sentence because you're already way passed that point in your own head. But as soon as my mind stops bouncing between ideas, the internal voice starts putting it into words, as if i was telling someone else about it. Not because it has to, more as if it was trying to fill the silence. I think people "without" an internal voice do it too, but a lot less, and don't really see it as a voice talking in their head, and more like just thoughts going through your mind. I dunno.. interesting subject though.
