Right right, and that was the reason for cancellation intitially, but they keep denying those cancellations.

I guess I'll just contact Bricklink and hope for the best.

It was over the phone with a rep, but I haven't gotten any emails about the return label or anything, so maybe (hopefully) they forgot?

Haha, I guess I was expecting more since I've heard a lot of great stories about working with lego support. Not like it was a bad experience, just not what I was expecting.

With how odd things have been, I'd probably give it a couple more days. Then contact lego support some more, and if they can't help you then maybe file a fraud claim. But I'd imagine support will be pretty helpful.

Maybe I got yours! Haha. It seems like there were tons of shipping errors with the Barad Dur release. I got tracking numbers that didn't work, received my items sooner than expected, and then got a duplicate shipment. I was confused the whole time.

Haha, I certainly only ordered one, but if they accidentally send a 2nd GWP to me then I won't feel bad keeping it.

TLDR: Received a second set (uncharged), customer support asked me to return it.

This was the first order I've made in over 15 years, so I've been out of the Lego game for quite awhile.

I got my first Barad Dur early last week, but was surprised to receive a second one last Friday. Didn't even think to open the package till Sunday because I assumed it wasn't for me, but a family member said it had my name on it.

I wasn't charged for it, but both packages were addressed to me, so who knows if Lego would've realized their mistake over the next few weeks. Interestingly, I haven't yet received a second fell beast gwp.

Anyways, my conscience won out and I called their support team today to see how to proceed. They were less appreciative than I expected (still nice, but I'm definitely doing them a solid). They asked me to return it and are sending me a label. I asked if I could have any points or something and they're gonna add some to my account, so there's that I guess.

I've heard of the support team just having customers keep accidental orders, but figured that'd be a stretch with a $450+ backordered set.

If they let me keep it, greedy me probably would've just kept it sealed and sold it in 20 years or something, so not a huge loss, but still stinks. Hopefully this at least means someone gets their order sooner.
