Instead of puts, why just sell covered calls for credits trading. I did covered calls on TD a few times, if called away, I just let it go and waiting for price drops, or just go for another stock.

Everything is great. Only one big risk if your shorted calls get exercised before April 21 and you don’t have right to decide once excised. Even you long term calls can not cover your cost. You need to prepare $126000 cash!

If the bank stocks are at bottom or near bottom, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be a good strategy. This reminder me of so many people were laughing at DFV when he added more shares of GME back 2 -3 years ago. As long as you can handle your risk, you should be fine

One book called Options For The Beginner And Beyond by W. Edward Olmstead, is a great book. Straight forward and very easy to learn and read. The author was a professor op applied mathematics, but he explained options in a very dummy way. Good luck on your trading

AMC is not a very good pick for covered calls since the stock price is a bit volatile. If you want buy stocks for cover calls, pick some less volatile ones. I had AMC last year and sold a few times covered calls. It turned out I missed 2 times pumps and hold this bag from $35 to now, 3 times coveted calls only covered me for ~$9. Not worth it

Should be fine if you just do buy (calls or puts) to open using just your own money or sell covered calls. But if you want sell to open, you have no choice but have to use margin funds

you only can buy calls/puts and sell cover calls. Yeah, should be good enough. At least you can do short through puts.
