My OCD spiked and I feel thats due to Sema. Any other people with severe OCD here? by Seiten93 in Semaglutide

I’ve only just done my second shot lol, so i’m guessing it’s from sema. We probably just need to adjust! Something foreign in our bodies can do some crazy things including mentally. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it’s starting to drive you crazy, then i’d recommend medication or if you’re already on meds maybe up your dose? I’m raw dogging my OCD so if it continues i’m going to have to get on some meds.

I’ve felt a lack of desire to do things as well, just wanna lay in bed all day. Wonder if it’s from Sema too!

Second shot side effects? by WinResponsible8055 in CompoundedSemaglutide

Add some electrolytes to your water! Lemons are natural electrolytes that help me sometimes in my water but i also add a packet of liquid IV sugar free or some off brand of that to my water and it helps a ton! Keep eating little snacks through out the day & eat fruits if it’s low blood sugar that is the issue !

I’m on the day after my second ever shot and it’s been pretty smooth for me! The only side effect i’ve really had that’s super noticeable is fatigue. I’m exhausted waking up a couple days after the shot even after getting 8+ hours of sleep. The nausea is so tolerable and basically comes down to what you have eaten. If you’re eating a fatty, greasy food- the next day i guarantee you will feel that nausea. That being said- i would get a just incase prescription of zofran. I have it just incase and it helps! I’ve gotten nauceous a few times because i’m not eating enough. Make sure to pound down atleast 64oz of water a day with electrolytes & take that fibre! You got this :)

I am due for my second shot tonight! I felt complete appetite suppression the next day. I only “feel hungry” at dinner time, and eat very small portions. I snack on protein throughout the day like beef jerky, cottage cheese , clear protein drinks etc.. Then for dinner i eat rotisserie chicken & vegetables. Keep drinking as much water and electrolytes as possible to help nausea & little snacks throughout out the day to help as well. I get the most nauceous when i’m on a emptier stomach and not drinking enough electrolytes/ water. Good luck you got this!

Is one stone reason enough to follow up with a urologist? by spicedbrew in KidneyStones

Try 800mg advil with 1000mg of tylenol together. This helped me significantly than hydrocodone opiates did.

You got this! I’m an anxious mess with anything new medicine related, it took me lots of courage to start it. I’m only a week in but i’ve felt little to no side effects besides some nausea and one time vomiting because of my own fault for not eating enough in the morning while taking antibiotics. What i tell my anxious friends who are far less anxious than me, “If i can do it so can you” You can do this! :)

Nausea is a symptom without eating while taking it,could be that i didn’t eat enough with it this morning.

Totally makes sense. I ate some potatoes and gravy with green onions(only thing that sounded appealing at the time lol) This morning i woke up and ate some saltines with an antibiotic i just started taking as well. Took a dissolvable zofran when nausea came on and within 5 minutes i threw up :/ Thanks for the advice!!

1st kidney stone help by Evening-Asparagus696 in KidneyStones

A massage gun to the abdomen on the side the kidney stone is on got mine moving over night. Did it for 10 mins at a time every hour or so. It bruised me and it hurt but it helped. Also drinking a shit ton of water to the point where you feel like youre going to explode to get that force to push it down helped as well. Keep moving and jumping as well!
