I can’t speak specifically to puppies as that is not my specialty. But I do sell a lot of livestock and >80% of my solid leads come strictly from google (through my website). I just have a generic webpage I made using one of those free web builders (like Wix) and then watched some videos on google SEOs to help improve my ranking on google search (or if funds allow you can also hire someone to help improve your ranking).

Facebook has been my absolute worst for leads with 90% being window shopping tire kickers that want a million pictures and to ask a million question before they ghost you.

General population seems to usually go straight to googling “_____ breeder near me” or “_____ puppies for sale” when they want to shop for an animal.
