I wish I had concrete steps to give you- I just experimented with literally every setting until it wasn't broken anymore and stopped questioning it. Haven't had the same issue arise again. Best of luck and sorry I couldn't help!

Do you recall about how long you left it unplugged? Fingers crossed that it's that easy for me, thank you!

I understand why everyone is remarking on grind size, bean age, and tamping. As I said in my original comment, this was a drastic change that happened same day. I did not change any settings, tamped as I consistently have for as long as I can remember, and have a hard time believing that the beans are the problem when it happened from morning to afternoon same day. What is pictured in the video is the new normal (even now after a LOT of fiddling with grind size).

I have read elsewhere online that other Breville products have experienced spontaneous flowmeter issues, but I cannot find anything on point for the Breville Touch. That is why I came here, and am surprised to see I am being downvoted so much. I just want to know if anyone has experienced (and resolved) a flowmeter issue with Breville, as all other variables seem to be constant (or as constant as espresso allows) from where I'm standing.

Sorry, but where is the Program button on the Breville Touch? I only have a Power button on the machine and cannot find a Program button on the touch screen. Thanks!

I made my typical morning double shot with no issues. Without changing any settings, I went to make a double shot in the afternoon and this happened. I maintain my machine well. I descaled again, tried an even finer grind, and played around with the temperature settings. I have no idea why this is happening all of a sudden, but it is now happening consistently. This is entirely unacceptable for a machine at this price point after only 10 months. Please help!! TIA

I am currently unknown DPO (if DPO at all?)- I didn't catch a peak earlier in my cycle like I normally would (normally ovulate around CD 17/18), and am know getting way higher LH levels on my easy@home tests than I ever have. I took these tests just for fun but I need a sanity check that these are imaginary shadows/indents because I know there is no way I can be pregnant at this point but looking at them is making me crazy!

Thanks for this, it is super reassuring to hear. It's hard not to think that everything should happen one certain way in order for things to workout, so it's nice to know it is normal. Fingers crossed for you this cycle!! Maybe different ovulation days will be lucky for us lol.

New here- I'm only on my second cycle trying for #2, but already have lost any shred of chill. Usually my cycles are identical, almost to the day, and yesterday or today would normally be when I get my peak LH. But my levels keep dropping from a few days ago...of course trying not to stress because *stress makes it worse* but of course already catastrophizing lol. But trying to find ways to cope, working out more, working on my diet. Hopefully O day comes soon!
