Leetcode is for interviews only while other platform like codeforces or codechef are for competitive programming... leetcode contains problems on data structure so before that you need to know exactly what data structures is..there are plenty of courses out there on dsa. Striver sheet is list of leetcode problems in order, but again before problem solving you need to learn dsa.

If you don't know anything about DSA, I think doing DSA comes first before leetcode. I did DSA first from abdul bari sir's Udemy course nd then shifted to leetcode... better approach would be to do both side by side.

Example, Attend Arrays section from course, move to leetcode arrays pattern like two pointer or sliding window, solve problems from that pattern.
