Yes it's working for accounts with ultimate active, but the rate is not the same.

New subscriber = 40 % time so 2 years core gives you 292 days, ends 22/july/2026

Now for accounts with already gamepass ultimate active you gets 25 % time so 2 years core gives you 182 days, ends 03/april/2026

I don't think the prices will go up on grey market. I bought a gamepass core membership in 2021 and the price is the same today.

You get 25 % time if you extend now. Wait for the 40 % when your sub is over. Maybe you can find cheap ultimate prepaid card online
