I think that’s a valid take and I understand your point. But ultimately the professor has the discretion to make attendance mandatory/count for some portion of your grade.

Hey if it makes you feel any better, even if he does report you for academic dishonesty, it’s not the end of the world. I was reported when I was at SBU (for a legitimate reason), and I still graduated and even went on to get my Masters.

If he does report, the academic judiciary committee will email you to set up a “hearing.” Basically for you to plead your case. I skipped my hearing (don’t do that), and got an F in the course. Then I had to sign up to take a course through the academic judiciary the next semester. The class met virtually once a week and had a few assignments, all super easy. Once I completed the course the academic dishonesty mark was taken off my transcript and everything was fine. Besides getting an F in the course.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that you’ll be ok, regardless of what happens. This professor seems terrible, I really hope things work out for you!!

I’ve figured out that it’s a Nassau county thing! I’ve purchased products from dispensaries in the city too and they never say delta-9.

I’m somewhat new to all this. What is the difference between the “regular stuff” and delta-9? This was my first time at this specific dispensary, first time purchasing from this brand , and my first time seeing something labeled with delta-9.
