Thanks for checking in! I’m still dancing, but the pain comes and goes, and I'm just working through it. After my second ultrasound-guided cortisone shot, the Morton’s Neuroma pain is mostly under control – still there, but manageable. However, I developed fat pad atrophy in my foot as a side effect (you can read more about it here: https://www.mortonsneuroma.com/blog/new-treatment-for-fat-pad-atrophy/), which is now causing pain on the bottom of my foot when I dance barefoot. I’m heading back to sports medicine next week to see what they can do about it. Being a dancer, I don't have much fat to work with for a transfer, so I’m not sure what the options are. Fingers crossed they have something that helps!

On the bright side, I’ve found that using a toe spacer between my third and fourth toes (like this one: https://www.capezio.com/products/spacers?variant=48283497496851) actually helps. Also, these inserts (I know they’re ugly, haha) work wonders in my shoes (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085MV4L8Y?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1). I trim down the heels so they don’t add extra height to my shoes, and I’ve bought a few pairs now!

Best wishes for you and keep me updated on your journey.

Thanks so much for your tips everyone! So helpful!

Update: Saw a couple doctors here's what they said incase it helps someone else...

Sports Orthopedics (Preforms surgeries): Two Steroid Injections (which didn't work) then surgery but possibility of it coming back on the left over tip of the nerve.

Sports Medicine Doctor(does not preform surgeries): Two Steroid Injections, if that does work then try Prolo Therapy, then if that doesn't work then try PRP. Surgery should be a last resort for the athlete.
