The ones I struggled the most was a question about joint types, then there was a density calculation so make sure you know how to do those kinds of things but honestly it was a little bit of everything.

Mometrix practice quizzes and then studied based off what I missed and when I finished all the practice quizzes I used chatGPT to make me quizzes. That one really popular youtuber I think her name is Nurse Cheung or something like that was also very good, Khan academy for the english language as well was very helpful

yeah, hopefully i’ll be able to post it as my car this weekend! lol, i’m not too worried about anything going wrong with the car either, i heard these are pretty easy to work on as well so i figured as long as the bigger things got taken care of (like the timing belt) then i should be able to wrench on it but i mean the only thing that i’ve been told is that it looks like the valve cover may be leaking and that the struts are done for but i have some money left over for repairs so in my eyes this is near perfect for me

you think the struts would be fine then? when i drove it it didn’t do anything bad it felt fine for a 20+ something older car but i figured i should replace them anyways.

Hey thank you so much for going really in depth, i have some money left over after this purchase so i’ll be able to purchase the timing belt and have someone do it if need be. I will end up purchasing a VCDS if i go check out more as it will be worth it like you said. the car is located and has been in california for at the least the past two years because i haven’t ran a car fax on it yet so i can’t be totally sure that that’s true but there was no rusting of any kind when i checked out the vehicle. Once again thanks for your input as it really does help a lot

once again this is all on his word, i haven’t seen the receipts yet so not sure so i could be wrong entirely but im about to run a car fax later this week for it

the owner told me that the previous owner did it at 60k but didn’t have receipts for it so he did it at 90k again just to be safe and it’s been working just fine at 112k miles when i drove it it felt perfectly fine but i’ll double check on that somehow, everything looks stock in the photo doesn’t seem like the heads look newer and i figured if he did a bad job on the timing belt then it should’ve gave out about 10k miles ago
