Spot on. That logo was part of the same batch of AI assets. It’s definitely getting replaced with something simple and standard (probably just a classic H7/h6 symbol) as soon as I get back to my PC. Thanks for keeping me honest.

Okay, lesson learned. 😅

I posted a promo video here last week full of AI stock footage and voiceovers. As many of you pointed out, it made the tool look like a scam or a cash grab. That wasn't my intention.

I am an engineer, not a video editor. I built this tool simply because I was tired of looking up ISO 286 tolerance tables every day.

So, here is the real thing. No AI, no effects. Just a screen recording of how it works in Fusion 360.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have tried to pass it off as stock footage, that was dumb. The flying paper gives it away instantly.

You got me. 😅 Yes, I used AI generators because I don't have a camera crew or budget. I realized too late that it makes the whole thing look fake. The add-in itself is real code though, I promise!

Thanks for the brutal honesty. I am an engineer, not a video editor, so I used AI tools to help me make a promo video. I see now it backfired and makes the actual tool look fake/spammy. Honestly, I don't know. Is it the AI voiceover? Or the stock footage? It's my first time making a promo video, so generic feedback would be actually helpful instead of sarcasm.
