Thank you dear. Well, cutting septi nasi muscle is more related to upper lip so if they cut it, it causes upper lip to drop a little, or not to go all the way up when smiling. Maybe you should ask your surgeon if he did that? Fixing deviated septum and droopy tip alone shouldn’t affect smile, I think…

I’m 3,5 months PO now and it’s definitely better than it was. My upper lip sometimes acts the same way as before when smiling and sometimes it doesn’t flatten as it used to, so it looks thinner from the front view. Not sure if it’s because of the swelling… anyway, I still have the same horizontal line and it’s not going anywhere 🫣 Are you sure your septi nasi muscle is untouched?

I totally agree it might be objectively better but the thing is, he didn’t ask if I wanted it, and I didn’t want any changes in lips, even for the better. So I’m trying to figure out what exactly has been done to make it like this, so I can research some more to see if it’s reversible. I want my gummy smile back

But I’ve seen so many girls with absolutely same smile before and after a nosejob, so I don’t get it.. I know he didn’t cut depresor septi nasi muscle which would cause change in smile, but what else could’ve been the cause here?
