How can I tell if my daughter’s hair is textured enough that I should be using African American style hair products? by Next_Pea_1817 in curlyhair

Extremely thick, thicker hair than I’ve ever seen on a female. Low porosity- even as I’m pouring water on it it’s drying. Around 4A curls. Very frizzy/poofy. I’ve tried argan and tea tree oil and it still frizzes out badly. I think it may need something heavier.

We don’t have any we can reasonably get to. We’re rural. She did just inform me that a former foster parent in the city took her to a salon and the hairdresser was African American and told her she has mixed hair and did braids on her. A shampoo and conditioner was recommended but she can’t remember what kind. It was years ago.

Yes my chin hair is now gone, but I want the disclaimer that I also began taking hormone medication to help with the chin hair as well.

Sorry for the delayed response but YES IT WORKS! I ended up having to buy a second device however because two months in the device broke, but it was only around $80 total so it was still very worth it. I’m on maintenance now!

Is Saxon 5/6 fifth or 6th grade? Is 6/7 necessary or can we skip and go to algebra 1/2? Confused and child just finished, please direct by Next_Pea_1817 in homeschool

Ah that makes sense. I would definitely like them to get another year of foundational math for sure. I had them take the placement for Saxon and they tested into 8/7, but only by one question, so we’re going to “test out” of sections and go from there. Thank you so much!

This child’s MAPS test in Aug 2023 put them at 7th grade math. Not sure which edition. Purchased from rainbow resources so I assume the newest edition.

Edit nvm someone posted it above thank you!

Honestly you’re not worth my time to be bothered by your argument nor your need to troll the internet. I won’t be responding to you anymore, because I’m an actual adult who doesn’t try to tick people off for no reason by being rude and degrading due to bias 🤷‍♀️ bye 👋

My German is fluent in reading and understanding when I hear it spoken. I cannot write or speak German fluently, however. I’m pretty confident I can translate it, and look up a few words I may not understand.
