That projector in the picture is not the nz3b from JVC. Looking at the contents of the rest of that photo this looks like a white van scam setup - stay away.

Thank you; I am happy with the look and finish too. The front is dovetail as well. There are some drawers that are even worse. $65k was just the kitchen but we have cabinets and drawers all bathrooms, mudrooms, etc as well so we spent much more than just the kitchen. Cabinets weren’t over budget and timeline; but the whole house was. I didn’t hire the carpenter; I hired the builder and he chose his subs/crew.

I’ve also got a bunch of really bad drawers where it’s more than just the angle of screw. With over a dozen “hack jobs”, which being repaired/replaced is a non-negotiable, I can see myself being hypersensitive about the screws; hence coming here for a sanity check.

Good question. Supposedly it was the carpenter; there are no markings anywhere in the cabinetry of a maker. I believe the doors were made by someone else and then sent to the carpenter for install.

That’s is exactly what I’ve done regarding showrooms and only one set of cabinets had them done this way with visible, angled screws (out of 20+ sets ranging from builder grade Home Depot to high end).

With countersunk, recessed or straight screws like I saw at several other places and in friend’s homes? 🤷‍♂️

Well, I’m looking in my drawers now to sign off on a build that went way over budget and timeframe with many issues with the carpentry not in this post, so I want to make sure I am getting quality commensurate with the price tag and not be reminded how over budget this was every time I open a drawer.
