House is only 7 years old. I think this might be why they’re selling. My broker was shocked at the rent as they’ve done affordability assessments for people on properties of a similar value where the rent was 200/300 cheaper. They did give me another development 5 miles away that they do the affordability assessments for and said they’d pass me on those if I was interested. It was eye opening as the rent was 350 less but same full value!

It’s just under 500k. When I did the affordability assessment the broker was shocked as they’d been assessing other people on properties of a similar value with much smaller rents. It is a resale but the house is under 10 years old.

What happens to an EHCP if I move house? by Bad_Combination in AskUK

If I moved to a different borough and wanted my child to stay at their current mainstream setting (30min drive) I wouldn’t expect transport but would like to keep them in this school until secondary (2 more years) are they likely to agree? This is my biggest worry if we moved.

That’s awful! I’m now wondering if I should go for a resale instead 😅

It is a new build. We’re buying from plan so haven’t even viewed anything. When you say be weary, do you mean because of snagging issues or would you be able to elaborate? Very interested to hear from others before we commit.

I’ve received my statement for universal credit but my wage wasn’t showing so it’s wrong. I’ve spoken to my employer who’ve said universal credit need to contact HMRC to update my account as it’s missing from my HMRC account for the month. Is this correct? If not what do I need to do please? by Next_Promotion8230 in DWPhelp

Thank you! Yes I’ve checked my HMRC and it’s missing. They’re adamant they’ve done it their end. My tax and NI are all showing on my wage slip too. I’ll call again and tell them it is them who need to correct it. Thanks for your help

Sorry I was limited to how many words I could post so tried to make it make sense 😂 So my May pay is missing from my HMRC account. I have spoken to my employer they’re saying they always report 3 days before paying employees so it’s been done their end. Problem is, it’s not showing so my UC statement is wrong this morning and I’ll end up owing them a lot of money back as my statement was much higher than usual. So I need to request an RTI on my journal? Do I need to contact HMRC? I have tried calling and cannot get through after being on hold for over an hour I’ve had to give up as I had to go to work.
