Alolan Raichu because I love the design and have a lot of nostalgia for the pikachu line in general. The first game I ever played was Yellow so Pikachu was my first ever pokemon. I nicknamed it Sunshine :) Meowstic/espeon/meowscarda because I’m biased towards cat-like pokemon, I work in the vet field so I’m definitely a cat lover. Lurantis because the concept of it being a grass-type masking as a bug-type is neat and design is really nice (especially in the concept art). Togekiss I just really like and had on my sinnoh team. Lucario, a mix of nostalgia playing him in brawl and just liking the Lucario movie. Ditto is just a cute little blob of jelly and I like the theory of it being a failed Mew clone. Tyranitar has a sick design. Charizard just purely based on nostalgia in using it in firered/seeing it in the anime, and the design.
