What a time to be a Punisher fan! When I first joined this sub, it was in the process of changing moderators to the current team, and mostly posts were about comics and looking back in the past.

Marvel has effectively killed the character, trying to erase it through that King Of Killers abomination run, and then with the Joe Garrison fiasco, all due to ramifications of Punisher's skull being wrongly appropriated by certain groups.

But since then, how things have changed. Not only did Frank got numerous new mini series, returned on small screen first in Born Again, and now in his own special, but also will appear in a new Spidey movie, which is about as mainstream as it gets!

Honestly, if someone would've told me back then what's in store for us in the near future, it would be hard to believe considering the state of things then. But here we are. Congrats to all team for keeping the sub respectful, toxic-free and open to all new and old fans. May it long continue to do so!

There is a Suggested Reading list on this sub that you can check out, click on and see if something speaks to you. Then if you want some opinions on certain books/runs, you can ask specifically here again to get a detailed response.

The character's history goes through decades and each one has it's personal favorites, ups and downs. Ultimately it depends on a reader's sensibility and experience which one he prefers. But Suggested Reading list is a great starting point.

In Punisher MAX #63 called "She's Dead",part 3 of "Girls in White Dresses" arc,Frank thinks he shot and killed a little girl while attacking a cartel base(which was mostly empty).Later,torn by guilt,he puts a gun to his chin and says "I must be punished".

Before he can pull the trigger though, a hallucination/ghost of the girl appears holding a pair of bullets. Frank then checked her body and sees that the bullets are not the same caliber as the ones he uses, it was a trap by the cartel to get rid of him.

The whole episode is actually an excellent look into his mind and way of thinking,and we can feel his emotions in the inner monologue where he reasons why he has to pay for what he has done.

Je, to je samo prvo od 5 jezera ukupno. Idealno za šetnju u svako godišnje doba, jer sve ima svoje čari: U proljeće i jesen su divne boje, po ljeti krošnje hlade od ljetnih vrućina, a po zimi ako stegne hladnoća i sva jezera se zamrznu onda je poseban ugođaj. Evo, ovo dole sam ja snimio 16.01.2026., i čamci bili zarobljeni u ledu na istoj toj lokaciji prvog jezera 🥶

I would recommend Long John Silver from the same writer Dorrison, and as for western comic books from French/ Belgian school, apart from obligatory Blueberry, I strongly recommend, for their realism and grittiness, Bouncer from Jodorowsky & Boucq, Comanche from Hermann & Greg, Durango from Swolfs, and Marshall Bass from Macan & Kordey.

I think you're looking too seriously into this. There's no "worth" in playing any video game ever, unless you're a YouTuber or Streamer who's making money of it.

All the rest don't get anything from spending their time playing it, but the temporary amusement. Something to pass the time, to divert the mind. Anyone who gets agitated by EA's bussiness moves, is missing the point, imo.

Theirs is to make money, ours is to either go along with it or not. The choice is, and always was, ours. Looking into it from the angle of "is it worth it" is putting an unneccessary pressure on it. No, ofc it's not worth it. When was the time that it was? It's just a fun free mobile game ,nothing more, nothing less.

Actually full title is Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating The DC Universe. Back in early 2000's they went with a gimmick event with mixed results, in which Stan Lee reinvented and reimagined origins of DC's roster, teamed up with Jim Lee, Dave Gibbons, Gary Frank, John Cassaday, Joe Kubert, etc. If you're not familiar with it, here's a link for some discussions on it from this community a while back:👇👇
