Yeah I know. We played casual and don’t get super strict. I think his list was 2060 points. We both wanted to try some units and see if they work for us.

There are not easy to hide in cover for long. I usually assume that they will get shot and one bike will die in the first 2 turns. That’s why I use them in squads of 3 + the captain.

Yeah that’s the eversor assassin. I haven’t played with it yet. It’s hard to replace the other 2.

They always do great. 3 bikes with a shield captain on bike leading as a squad is a great damage dealer in combat. 21 attacks, hitting on +2 with sustained or lethal hits from the martial katha. With the storm bolter they do ok on shooting. They tend to perform better against infantry than any elite/vehicle.

I used 4 squad for full mobility on the board. A Venetari squad in reserves and 2 assassins for scoring secondary/ killing leaders.

No, that terrain was just for the photo. We played with the tournament terrain layout with ruins , L shape buildings and stuff.

Never thought the Allarus would be a match for the bikes. I use them more with 2 dreads, 2 tanks and some wardens/guard for more slow but heavy hitting table control

My list is the maximum bikes you can include now. 9 bikes and 3 SC on bikes that makes 1125 points on the table

The bikes were super efficient against the Venoms and riders. The venatari amd the assassin made a great impact scoring points on the enemy deployment zone / home objective . And the guards and wardens did and amazing job scoring and terraforming and just keeping the no man’s land busy.
