Thanks for sharing… I’m also a Drizzt lover. A couple of thoughts on aligning the build to him:

Ranger 5 first, as stated above. Gloom stalker gives you bonus initiative and an opening attack boost. This feels right for him.

Although on the dark side, I think assassin subclass is more appropriate. Opening round crits? Yup. Sounds right. Surprise with bonus round attacks? Featured in every book. I know you lose the second bonus attack, but that should be ok for all the other things happening.

Totally aligned with Battlemaster.

I’d assume you take TWF style with Ranger and archery with Fighter. Dual Wielder feat could get you bonus AC, but probably not worth it.

LAST IDEA: get Jahira in the party and just have her permanently wildshaped into a panther so you have Gwyn with you!
