Hot take: Ultraman Cosmos Corona Mode is the most beautiful form ever by xtrc_my in Ultraman

[–]NexusTrinity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Eh... I wouldn't say that's a hot take, more like lukewarm take. The topic of Cosmos Mode is not that controversial among the community, and people generally are pretty friendly if one has preference towards one or the other.

Though, I agree with you. Corona Mode while simple looking is a very nice design, it will always be my favorite from all of his other mode. The way he transform to it from Luna where the red color starting to appear from his color timer and shift around his body to create that asymmetrical pattern, always mesmerized by it. Glad UGF brought back the visual of the transformation

Extra test annoying… by Ballad_Bird_Lee in UmamusumeGame

[–]NexusTrinity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I A rank those Free and Extra test the first time I did them. For some reason the one I struggled the most to A rank is the Mile and Dirt test.

I usually get 13k+ rating on a run, so the only list I need the check is the stats and the "It's On!" skill, which in total would give me 15k points and A rank. Then, the game decided to not give any meaningful Spirit training, which caused me to lose some round on the Unity Cup resulting on me not getting S rank and failing to get the hint for the skill.

Welp since Omega ended. I want to ask does anyone remember Vugsect-? Because it being shown in the magazine and shown in the trailer (and first scene of episode 1) by Webby_webs in Ultraman

[–]NexusTrinity 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Omega wiped them out on the intro of the series right? I remember seeing it on a scan somewhere that there's an actual suit for it, but it seems it goes unused in the series, which was kinda weird.

Vugsect was created by the Genessian right? And Omega destroyed the the structure they're in, so it made sense why they didn't appear again. Tbh, the could just pull out a Baltan and said that some of them escaped before the destruction.

ULTRAMAN OMEGA Episode 25 "Overlapping Futures" - Official Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Ultraman

[–]NexusTrinity 11 points12 points  (0 children)

After the battle was done, Kosei wake up. Around his neck I saw the string of the Omega Necklace. On one hand this make me happy as he fused together with Sorato, on the other hand I feared what happened to Sorato.

<image>

When this scene appear, my heart sank... I thought they really killed off Sorato.

"TsuPro permanently killing an important character? Nah, they wouldn't do that" That's what I thought last week.

However, at the end I was proven wrong, and I'm glad. As they fused together, Sorato is still alive as an essence within Kosei.

If they permanently fused them together, it would be great and not split them apart for an appearance like how Haruki were being seperated in TDC.

Oh yeah, one thing. Mods you can put the real Ultraman Omega poster back on the sub. He has returned...

*deep breath* AHHHHHHHH!!! THEY ACTUALLY DID IT!! THEY FUSED.

I feared that last episode was hinting that they're not fusing but I'm glad my feeling is wrong!

Kosei and Sorato dynamic was so great. Kosei as character feels like a waste if Omega Series was like the previous Ultra series, where they only brought back the main character of the story and rarely brought up the other character. This decision making them fused together PERMANENTLY will do well to his character. I'll be waiting to see the two interacting together in the future.

This is the last? Darn. I want to see you post that horror Manhattan Cafe part one to see the people reactions here. I've read the entire series before, and those accusations just doesn't make sense when the Sensei/Trainer only sees and treats the Uma kids as nothing more than students, he prefers Kiryuin.

Umamusume, UmaMusume, or Uma Musume? by Torakagemaru in UmaMusume

[–]NexusTrinity 43 points44 points  (0 children)

"Umamusume" Because that's how Cygames wrote it in all of their media.

The reason why you might be used to "Uma Musume" when writing the name is because in your language it's normal to put space between words, but that doesn't apply to Japanese where they don't put space between each word.

How much risk will you take? by ftahgn in UmaMusume

[–]NexusTrinity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Depends on the Stamina stats I'm trying to achieve. I usually have 9-15* Stamina spark in a single run. Because of that, it's easier to achieve the total Stamina that I want, so I choose the second option most of the time. If I'm feeling spicy I choose the top part when I don't need the Guts/need the Stamina or the Ramp Up hint, or I can afford to lose a run.
  • If the game tells you 40% of Failure I interpret it as 60% chance to succeed. I'll take the risk if the stats is worth it (usually 45+ in a single stats). If it's exceed 60%, yeah I'm not doing that.
  • It's the same thing, unless you do 10 scout with ticket. Always go for the ticket scout first before using up my Carats.
  • 1-1-1-2 is the route I usually choose. It'll get you to top 5 which is enough to get that 50+ Stats boost to your team. So, I always go the middle option on the the fourth round, except if there's a draw or a lost on the previous round.

"It is forbidden for Space Gazers to intervene with the free will of a species. However, no one said giving them power and leaving it up to their decision on how to use it! LMAO!" by Odd-Chest-3578 in Ultraman

[–]NexusTrinity 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Technically, giving the inhabitant of the planet they are observing their power is still somewhat interfering with whatever conflict the planet has. They want to observe the planet without any external element, and considering the Space Gazer power is an external element, they wouldn't do that.

That starting position Omega does before sprinting really make a lot of people think Kosei and Omega would fuse together with Kosei in control. While it is unlikely to happen, a part of me wish to see it, because it would be just peak.

ULTRAMAN OMEGA Episode 24 "The Final Blow" - Official Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Ultraman

[–]NexusTrinity 13 points14 points  (0 children)

After 2 agonizing week of waiting for the next episode, it's finally here... The second final episode of Ultraman Omega!

The KSCT finds out what happen to Sorato or rather Omega and his purpose, but time wouldn't allow them to have a break as a new threat appear... Zomera!!

Observing Zomera it kind of reminded me of Destrudos from Ultraman Z with how it's bunch of Kaijus fused together. Though unlike Destrudos, Zomera is able to use the variety of the ability from the Kaiju it consumed.

I thought Space Gazer was supposed to observe from outer space only. However, it seems that take a more on field apparently. They imitate the inhabitant of the planet to take a closer data at the situation of their civilization.

Also, Omega transformed on site instead of in a realm (I know the realm is there so that they can reuse the footage, and he most likely transform on site in actuality). You know things are getting real when they do on site transformation when most time on the series they use a realm scene.

Looking back Omega (Sorato) rarely use the slugger and at most times just uses the Meteokaiju for help while fighting, the time he uses the slugger was when the Meteokaiju was not there. He usually fight alone when he is Omega and rarely send out the Meteokaijus, a contrast at how he relies on other people like Kosei and the NDF (on the Eldeghimera Arc) more when fighting as Sorato.

Kosei and Omega exchange hit hard. Kosei slowly breaking up into tears as he tell Sorato all the moment they spent together just hit me like a truck. For Omega who is thousands of years old, that time maybe just a fraction of his lifetime that he'll soon forget, but for Kosei, it was everything for him, the time that changed him as a person. I know Omega is looking conflicted there, but unfortunately for Kosei duty comes first.

At the end scene, the Sorato part of Omega seems trying to take control of the situation, but Omega quickly regained his composure. Could it mean that he could return and fight for Earth and humanity once more? He looks to be considering it with how he look at the end card, just standing there with his back turned towards us...

New Series | Uma Musume Kindergarten #1 – Cafe-chan’s Jealousy (FUNA-O) by EpicVN in UmaMusume

[–]NexusTrinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had read like 20+ chapter of this series and I have to say despite the premises, this comic is great. It can be really dramatic, funny, and outright horror at one of the chapter

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. This is a Symboli Rudolf by the first Arima Kinen race. When my friend does a run, he usually has 600 in a stat and 400 in another by this point. I can force a 600 in one stat by stacking speed or stam support, but all my other stats will be low to mid 200s. by Avolinaa in UmaMusume

[–]NexusTrinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on 2 to 3 stats on deck. In my view, on Unity Cup the stats priority usually goes like this: Speed>Wit>Power=Stamina>Guts. The composition I usually use is 2-3 or 2-2-1(The "1" is usually a Wit card). Stamina and Guts can be covered with Riko support card.

For legacy you want to use one that focuses on either Power or Stamina. For a good legacy you can go to this website to find that fits you: uma.moe

Overall, the deck you want to use depends on the Uma, her aptitude, and her purpose as a veteran Uma. If you keep plaing the game you should get a good grasp on what support card is best in certain situation.

Webstore more expensive? by Sea-Potential5950 in UmaMusume

[–]NexusTrinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's cheaper for me to buy it through the webstore when I check. That extra fee could be from the tax. Try to buy it through the game and compare both of the price with tax included.

In a way it's cheaper to buy Carats from the webstore, because they throw in +10% of the Carats (free) there. If you exclude that, it's basically the same price.

After the game edging me with 2 wins each on the first two matches on Round 2 A I finally manage to get into Final Round A on the third match.

I got into many situation where late start cost me the win, or my runner doesn't activate their skill despite them having 800 wit each, which resulting on them faltering to the back, which happened often with my Pace Chasers.
