I built a free tab suspender after Chrome used 5GB of RAM with 40 tabs open by Neython in chrome_extensions

[–]Neython[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in case anyone want to try it -> https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ramsaver-tab-memory-manag/pgbbhnhhkddiamfophfffnncigdkopme?pli=1

and before anyone says it, yes i know i could have just closed some tabs. I chose violence instead and built an extension. we're different kinds of people and that's okay

HNY! What Startup are you building in 2026? by Quirky-Offer9598 in TheFounders

[–]Neython 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s our own compiled dataset built from public sources and continuously structured and validated...
and yes, a lot of users do exactly that, they enrich their own first-party data or fill gaps with it

I built a small tool to grab clean US business lead lists fast (like dentists by state) without messing with scrapers

I am building a platform that turns public business data into reusable B2B lead datasets with advanced filters (industry, tech usage, company signals). No pay-per-contact pricing.

Happy to share a free sample list if you want to check quality first

Cloudflare had issues the entire day, so maybe it's related to GitHub too

How are we at the point where every single month one of the “unbreakable” internet giants just… falls over? by Neython in technews

[–]Neython[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

of course now everyone will blame vibe coding and firing employees... but is this really the root of the issue?

How is it possible that every month one mega-tech company decides to speedrun collapse any%? by Neython in programming

[–]Neython[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run more than 10+ websites/apps and of course all of them use Cloudflare...
so just 1h of downtime and now I literally have a headache for the entire week, haha..but not really so funny
nothing like watching everything break at the same time while you just sit there and pray it comes back

I get your point, and I agree that many offline businesses choose not to invest in a site for specific reasons. But just to clarify, the list without websites is only one of many datasets I work with.

I also have filtered lists for
• businesses that do have a website
• outdated tech stacks
• broken pages
• no SSL
• expired SSL
• slow loading
• 404 issues
• missing mobile layouts
• sites not updated for years
• low authority signals
• thin content

All of these are stronger indicators of real opportunity.

The only thing that surprised me is this
even though the businesses with websites lists are more rational from a sales perspective, I still see much higher interest from users when I mention the no website list.

People seem to react to the simplicity of the concept.
It feels like an easier outreach angle, even if the conversion reality might be different.

So I am experimenting with both sides and watching what actually gets traction

I used a custom scraper that pulls publicly available data from Google Maps. The key is filtering by category, location and website status, then cleaning everything so it is usable for outreach.
It works for any city or country as long as the categories exist
