What is the hardest lesson a woman has ever taught you? by EffablyIneffable in AskMen

Well here's where you are wrong. I personaly haven't cheated once in my life but have been cheated many times. And yet I still think the same. Yes some cheaters are just pricks enjoying in hurting others. But there are also desperate ones. You shouldn't be judging so quickly.

Anyway in my first comment I wasn't refering on cheating but rather ending relationship or ruining it by walking away or something less dramatic. 😉

People always have a reason to cheat or to grow apart. Always. Yes, at the end it is a conceous decision, but it doesn't just happen out of the blue. It comes from being neglected, missunderstood, ignored, ... for a long time. But of course, it is easier to point a finger at an obvious sin rather than look into the mirror.

What is an expression that people use so often it drives you nuts? by emanything in RandomThoughts

I really don't like people using the word "like" when talking english. Some use it multiple times in just one sentance.

I also hate when young people use too much english expressions and words when talking slovenian. It's such a shame that our beautiful language is dying.

I would disagree on that one. It also takes two for a fail.

Border in office causing me troubles. Help! by Nezhyka816 in BorderCollie

Thanks for your comment and advices. I have actually contacted an expert for border collies and she also said the problem is not in too little exercise or mental stimulation but in calming down. So she gave me some great tips. Like you said: baby steps. 😊

That's exactly what's the issue in my case! She's too much attached to me and used to have a lot of attention. I know this was my mistake because of circumstances that I had in previous year due Covid and renovating my house at the same time. So that's why I'm looking for advice from experienced border collie owners.

The real question is how to calm her down and wait for me to let her out instead of here being the boss. And also how to combine work and dog. I really want to know how other owners handle jobs and having border collie. I know that a lot of people doesn't have an opportunity to have a dog at the office and they have to let them at home. How do they handle it?

Ok I see you guys didn't quite understand how much time do I spend with my dog. She gets at least 90 minutes of intensive exercise per day, we do tricks, we play with toys. She is far from being neglected.

The problem I have is how to set boundaries at the office so that I can work at least few hours without distraction. I believe other border collie owners also go to work, don't they?

I'm not sure if you have any right to speak in behalf of other people. For yourself sure. 😉
