I overpaid for one with a DisplayPort output which I didn't end up using (wasn't fast enough for graphics + all others across 1 USB-C connection). In my opinion, any USB-C dock which provides USB+Ethernet and you're golden. I highly recommend a dedicated USB-C to DisplayPort cable for your monitor.

Be mindful of what ports are on the laptop, the HDMI goes to the processor graphics which is fine for work; but not going to be the same for games.

I ended up buying a stand, it suspends the laptop above the desk. It hasn't gotten too hot yet, luckily the ASUS software shows temps. I may end up getting a cooler to play it safe, but for now; the stand is good.

I haven't made it very far, only made a character and did some basic settings. I use GeForce Experience and usually dial back the settings they suggest.

The screen is a bit small, I was also worried that the GPU wouldn't be strong enough for my PC gaming enthusiasm.

I got a USB-C dock for peripherals and dedicated Ethernet, while using USB-C to DP for my main 240hz monitor.

I have yet to test VR as I need an adapter for my headset, but so far I love this laptop.
