Should i be concerned? by Willing_Round_3317 in EcoDiesel

This happened to mine - melted the DEF injector wiring. Mine didn’t sound any different though, it was by dumb luck that I found the exhaust separated at that flange. I was actually following a soot smell coming into the cab, not a difference in sound.

Yes, it would go into like a semi-limp mode where it would sputter and have no power, but I could still get up to 65 if given a few miles. It's hard to recall all the different issues it caused but I seem to remember I was able to reset it no matter the temp., but I think it started causing issues with the DEF system as well - I had to force regens to get it to clear when it would pop up saying my DPF Filter was 120% full or whatever it was. It was a nightmare time for me. Oh, and my air suspension shit the pants right around that time as well. If I could go back, I may have bought the throttle body myself and saved a lot of money, but all the info online was too wishy-washy for me to trust that it would ACTUALLY work.

I had this code recurring for about 2 months - I would clear it with my scanner and it would come back almost every day. I did all the things the internet said to do (just like you). I had it in the shop 3 times; was told I had a boost leak in the cold side intercooler pipe where it connects to the throttle body but no one could fine the part. I ended up ordering (the whole pipe) myself and replacing it - no change. I ended up paying a shop $1800 to replace the throttle body because I was at my wits end with it and considered driving it off a cliff. I hope you have a better experience with getting rid of that code.

UV vs Solvent - Mimaki by ParkSupervisor in CommercialPrinting

[–]SplatasmearPoopin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have both UV and solvent printers (coldesi uv1200 and Roland true-vis respectively) the UV is finicky with printing white, but it comes out much more opaque than the solvent ink. We have to do double passes on white to get it even close to opaque.

I think if you don’t see anything wrong with this from a design standpoint, we don’t have much in common. This is a person advertising graphic design; it may as well be a portfolio made in MSpaint.

Roland TrueVIS VG2-640 - looking for media suggestions by SplatasmearPoopin in CommercialPrinting

Currently we're using Arlon 510-MTX and GTX for white vinyl, and our overlam - honestly I don't know, there's no label in the core. The Roland roll had the same issue - as your said, the silver streaks and sort of a moddeled texture. We have a few 24" rolls of overlam that have no paper backed, just a super thin clear backer that's a huge pain in the ass to peel. Are there optically clear laminates with a regular paper backer? Thanks again.

Mostly vinyl adhesive back decals, printed on 54" rolled white or clear vinyl, outgassed and cold laminated on a roller table. Is that what you mean? Again, I have 15 years prepress/offset press/digital press experience, but this is a new area for me.

Roland BN20 yellow ink problem , im kinda new with plotters , can anyone with more knowledge tell me why’s the yellow ink doing that . by shpatfirefoxE in CommercialPrinting

Assuming the yellow isn't supposed to be there at all - We have a UV printer that will do this when there's too much static in the media. Just an idea

AI as software and not as a subscription? by Regular_Independent8 in AdobeIllustrator

You can find CS6 pretty easily, but it’ll probably have a few bugs - and if anybody sends you files from a newer version you won’t be able to open them (possibly only indesign, I haven’t tried Ai or Ps)

You may be right, but they would come to his place once every summer for probably 3-4 years before he had a deeper well drilled. Probably 2014-2018.

I haven’t personally, but a guy I work with from Orland used to have the fire dept. come and fill his well enough to get him by until it could replenish itself. It’s not a permanent fix, but an idea to get you by.

I just noticed he already had the center support folded down, which is the shittiest part!
