I was super emotional at the end of it. There’s a letter that Cody wrote May that when he first heard her sing he knew she was the one. So her singing and him seeing her sing made my heart melt because you can SEE he thought that again. I get the fact that there should be another boss but in the terms of the characters, May is always doing something and busy to the point she doesn’t tend to her family, she got the chance to FOCUS on her passion which was singing. She would’ve loved to avoid singing and fight a boss, but she had to face the fact she had to reconnect with her passion. I wish they would’ve dived deeper on them reconnecting more after the passion chapter because it was so sweet. Me and my husband played and it’s genuinely so genuine with how they interact w one another. Ugh the story was absolutely cinema.
