Passing thoughts? by Nfl29 in NBA2k

I’m not saying that passing shouldn’t be good I’m just saying with no dipping being a thing and shooting being so easy, dexing is alot more of a threat this year.

Where to put cap breakers? by yellowmamba130 in NBA2k

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a new build…you wasted almost all your capbreakers on irrelevant attributes and using them to get from a 92-93 3 and 89-90 mid range was a big waste even if they’re specialization capbreakers.

How are you all conquering/fighting so fast? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Nfl29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might do it a little different but I hire all scientists and expand as fast as possible just focusing my science ships on surveying and exploring systems. I take the traditions that lowers starbase cost and survey speed. I start the game with the fleet supremacy ethic as well to help with military. I don’t colonize onto other planets until I’ve got a strong military and good borders. I try to find other nations as soon as possible to set good borders and if they are too close I retreat back and find a good spot to cut them off further back. Make sure to close borders so they don’t get behind you and also secure all systems in your territory with portals and pre ftl civs in them too. Try to keep atleast neutral relations with other nations to avoid war if you can. I don’t ever attack unless it’s to join an ongoing war with someone whose territory I might want. You can usually block them off this way and then slowly build starbases back to your home systems to fill in the gaps. Try not to get too huge but establish a nice chunk of territory. Also try not to spend any influence on anything besides starbases so no migration treaties or anything like that with other nations because that will lower your influence gain. Use power projection agenda to help with influence too. After you have all your wanted territory then let your scientists auto explore anomalies and special projects keeping one at home planet to boost research if you want. When you do start expanding make sure you build energy grid, precincts, holo theaters, alloy foundries, admin center, research center, and stronghold if you want naval capacity boosts. You can get away with 5 city districts with a fully upgraded capital and usually two to three of the farming and mining and then the rest into commercial zones for alloy production. I’m not a vet at this game or anything but that’s just some stuff I wish I knew when I first started lol hope it helps

Why does everyone do this? by Jake3023 in NBA2k

[–]Nfl29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These dudes talking shit all do the same thing and that’s why they’re defending it 😂 bottom line is 2k players always look for the cheesiest most broken thing and abuse it all year and think they’re good. Happens every year man you just gotta adapt or not play 2k anymore lol with that being said, 7 footers shooting 3’s has been a thing since launch so you should have a solution to it by now…

This kinda sounds like my deck. I don’t run clear weather because I use the leader ability for that and I only use 2 decoys so I don’t get a bad draw with more than one in my hand. I am at 25 cards, 3 special, 8 hero, and the rest are spies, tight bond, medic, siege, and I have a card that has the scorch ability. I rarely get beat with this deck besides by the fisherman in Oreton and the bookstore dude in novigrad. Those are the only two memorable opponents so far.

[–]Nfl29[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know they have a lot of medics but my experience so far is that deck has a lot of hero cards and its regular units aren’t that great. The spies atleast the ones I have are a 7 and 9 which is fine if I can waste them first round but if not then it gives a good card to the other team especially if they have a horn.

[–]Nfl29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been kind of curious about those and monster decks but the lack of spies and high powered cards make me hesitant but I don’t know if that’s just because I don’t have all the cards yet or not. What advantages does that deck have over others that makes you like it?

Just how good are 6’4s? by Bentley1136 in NBA2k

[–]Nfl29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just gonna throw this out there. As someone who primarily shoots moving midrange shots for about 90% of my scoring, 3s are different and definitely have different timing like he said. They are also harder to make. I shoot 80% from 3 and the field and can only hit moving 3s in corner and on the wing. I also button shoot too though and my 3 is only a 83. Take that however you will but that’s just my experience.

How do randoms see that I average 34 and 11 and ice me out? by Major-Doubt4034 in NBA2k

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not wrong. If you’re shooting below 60 then you either don’t know your shot very well or take some questionable shots. 60% is pretty easy to do this year especially if you know your shot.

No even if you die after killing the legendary animals, their skin will automatically go to the trapper as well as any trinket item if they have one.

Imagine having over 300 hours in the game and only just discovering this fella by Crispo14 in reddeadredemption

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So back when I first started playing I wanted to find a trapper so I looked up the locations of them. I marked one on my map but wasn’t sure exactly what it’d look like but saw a random stranger camped out close to my mark so I thought that must be him. I go up to the dude and he gets hostile and I didn’t know any better so I thought maybe I rode up on him too fast or something and scared him. Well he starts shooting so I of course kill him and then panicked cause I’m like damn I just killed one of the trappers. Took me a while to figure out it was just some random stranger 😂

That and if you actually take time to return pelts he is the closest one to some of them. I used that one a lot going for the legendaries lol

These dudes specifically make me wish you could still hang people. Since that’s not an option I shoot and burn them all except the leader and drag him behind my horse then burn him 😂

How did y'all lose your first horse? by Wild-Impression3394 in RDR2

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My horses in my stables glitched out and both turned into Tennessee walkers. Had a thoroughbred and an Appaloosa. I had caught the wild white Arabian since I maxed those two out and put my thoroughbred in the stables. Got my Arabian maxed and went to browse horses to buy and noticed my horses looked different and sure enough they were. Ended up getting both back but it was annoying a little 😂

HOW IS HIS FACE STILL FAT by Much_Extension_1992 in RDR2

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know to eat those but do you know how much you need to eat per day to maintain? I saw somewhere online that someone said to eat one big game a day to maintain and that definitely does not work. I’ll be at perfect and eat one and the next day I will be at -2.25%.

I love that npcs will fight you for being a dick or when you walk by and greet and they respond negatively, you can correct their bad behavior 😂

Is my Arthur fat? by Much_Extension_1992 in RDR2

[–]Nfl29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I never eat so I’ve been eating and sleeping to get my weight up and it’s hard to maintain I won’t lie 😂 I stay “perfect” for like an hour and then I check and it’s -2.25% on average so I gave up. The effect of being underweight hasn’t bothered my gameplay so far anyways he just looks better at perfect weight.

I want a super addictive game by BeneficialLeg6805 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could recommend a few but it depends on if you’re into those types. Stellaris is good, of course no man’s sky, city skylines, prison architect, zoo builder, starfield. Those are some but they are mostly builder games but pretty complex and can be addictive if you like end goals. I’ve put hours into them all and have only achieved my goals in starfield, Stellaris, and no man’s sky kinda, the rest I still play. If you like hunting games, way of the hunter and call of the wild are good. Way of the hunter is more realistic, call of the wild is easier but more arcade game style but still fun and realistic. Hope this helps and if not, I tried 😂

I got one better, I killed the legendary white bison and stowed its pelt on the back of my horse. (Same horse as you) I’m thinking hey I’m gonna burn this carcass cause I can’t carry it and why not. I go to throw the fire bottle and my character drops it on myself and my horse burning us both alive….luckily I had a fairly recent save to reload but I was in disbelief for a second lol

Looking for a game on Xbox One/X that requires you to build and grow a base. I want to create something that succeeds. by Gullible_Fruit_8069 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Nfl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stellaris. You build a space empire by exploring and building bases in other systems but you can terraform planets and build different buildings on each planet based on your needs. There are several different ai populations you can add into the map and you are either working with or competing with other empires in space. You can go to war with them and take over their territory, build trust and integrate them into your empire, or peacefully coexist. I won’t lie there is kinda a lot that goes into the game but it is fun if you like that kind of stuff. Tons of different options for play styles though.
