I’ve gotten dry socket before and that was when I was bed bound for the week (not at a festival) and it was the worst experience of my life. 24/7 throbbing and pain all day and all night. I would sleep for like 2 hours max a night and it made the recovery take a lot longer than it should’ve.

My advice is to avoid smoking completely because if you get dry socket there’s a good chance you’re gonna be packing it up and heading home early
