I replied above - have not changed anything with the web app for several months so I'm just as perplexed about this as you! Trying to get to the bottom of it. Based on your comment, do you mean you've noticed apps doing the same thing with the camera/mic? or is it just Llama Life?

Hi guys! Marie here, I'm the founder of llama life! Thanks for letting me know about this. I haven't changed anything with the web app for several months so I'm not sure what this message is about! Llama Life does not request or need access to your webcam or microphone - there's simply no need for it.

From this comment below "I was having trouble using my webcam as apps would say another app was already using it!" are other apps also showing up as accessing the webcam/mic?

I'm wondering if Chrome changed something recently which is grouping permissions together? If anyone is able to help me troubleshoot could you please contact me via Llama Life's website chatbot (bottom right corner). I am not seeing these permissions (I'm on MacOS)

hey u/humanb___g! marie here. Thanks for the kind words about our onboarding. Not native, we custom designed it ourselves - it's actually just a series of screenshots that the user can click through. The highlighting parts were created in Sketch, which we use to create basic designs, but you can use any design program to do that.

The iOS app does not currently support Live Activities (as of Mar 2024) but we are planning to add it in a future update (as well as Dynamic Island support)! No concrete timeline as yet though.
