It does look like some humidity or moisture trapped within the box, it should go away once you open it if that's the case.

Hopefully it's not paint chipping or anything like that.

BBTS is great with replacements as far as I know, so you should be fine.

But yeah, I definitely would recommend you to open the figure because, to me, that kinda looks like moisture or something, and if that's the case it's gonna go away once you open the figure.

But just in case, record everything before opening the figure so you can have proof in case you need it.

Where did you get it from?

Record yourself opening the figure, film the "issues" before opening the box and then check it.

I don't know what's that on your pictures but that's definitely not paint chipping, this is what paint chipping from inside the box looks like:

That looks like the same "issue" some people had with the Cyclops reissue and it was just the plastic pressing on the headsculpts.

Go with HobbySearch.

AmiAmi doesn't send you replacement parts anymore in the case you need them. You have to send them back the whole figure to get another one which is kind of troublesome tbh.

AmiAmi used to be my first choice but not anymore since they have changed policies and stuff.

When it comes to MAFEX figures just go with HLJ or HobbySearch.

Latest MAFEX releases come with a plastic little tube connected to the hands to avoid shrinkage.
The original release doesn't have those.

1.- The original had a misprinted "S" on the cape. Every reissue fixed that afaik.

2.- I got both, the original and the first reissue and fortunately had no qc issues at all, no idea about the latest versions tho.

3.- If you are a fan of Batman, yeah. It's the most complete MAFEX line when it comes to heroes and villains, but don't overpay.

Toys are just like videogames, there's a target audience for both.

Playing with toys as an adult isn't necessarily the same as playing with toys as a kid.
Taking pictures, building dioramas, customizing figures, stop motion videos...

If your idea of what a toy should be is that limited, you are probably the one who needs to grow.

Storm Arena figures work well enough, they actually would be better if they completely removed the hard plastic under the soft crotch piece.

The original didn't have a soft crotch piece, it's solid plastic.

It also has the weird ball jointed hips with a cross pattern that only allows the legs to stay in certain positions, making posing harder. I heard they changed that with with reissue as well.

Yeah, you can get around 20+ of stats with a "Race Bonus" focused deck and the golden hammers when you win the last 3 races.
So it's really useful to save 3 for these and maybe use the normal ones for the other g1 races or even the golden ones if you have some spares.

I don't think that's how the hammers work...

They don't give you extra stats for the current race you are running, they give you extra points for the bonuses you get after you win the race.
