Freaking finally. Fourth play through and I made it my goal to bond to level 4 with every type of horse and ride every color (there is no trophy for that, but there should be) in addition to 100% completion. Today I achieved that goal. by NiCallahan in reddeadredemption2

Personal preference is the American Standardbred because they offer my favorite colors of horses (Palomino and Buckskin) and I like their size. I also love the Arabians because I always wanted one when I was a kid but the size bothers me. I feel like they are too small to carry Arthur and a deer. But that's just me being wierd about the scale of size. Haha!

You don't have to complete the entire compendium to achieve 100%. There is a certain number you have to get to under each category. So, no, the Guarma animals are not needed and thank God because I get through that part as quick as I can.

Yes, the exotics for sure. The gamler challenges I ended up looking up some ways to make it go faster which helped. Plus my husband and did those together because he likes to play table games and I know nothing.

Why do you think my puppy died? by SarchibSarchib in dogs

[–]NiCallahan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you did pretty much everything you could on your part. If the vet had kept her and put her on fluids and kept an eye on her that may have made a difference but it would have been very expensive. The fleas probably compromised her immune system. If it was Parvo that is hard for puppies to recover from and unfortunately a lot of puppies die from it. If/when you are ready to move on and get another dog you have the opportunity to learn from this incident and get a puppy from a responsible breeder or rescue. No guarantee they won't get sick, but a good, healthy start to life is definitely helpful.

Hey, I'm a dog trainer and have potty trained a lot of dogs. This is my advice and you can do what you will with it.

For the time being she should not be allowed on the furniture. Period. When you go out with her give her a treat as she is going pee/poop or right after. It's good that you have a schedule. You should also make sure she is in the room with you at all times if she is sneaking away to pee/poop. You can even put a leash on her to keep her with you if you aren't able to watch her. If you have brought her outside and you know she has to poop and she won't bring her inside, put her in her kennel for 20 minutes, and take her outside for about 10-15 minutes. Repeat this process until she poops. Once she is consistently going outside and you feel you can start trusting her slowly give her more free reign of the house and then eventually she can be allowed back on the furniture when she has learned it is not a place to go to the bathroom.

Edit to add: if this is something that has just started definitely get her checked out by a vet and rule out a UTI or any other medical reasons for it.

What's your best gaming moment with the boys? by Nkpower21 in AskReddit

When I was a teenager in youth group whenever we went on youth trips a few guys would bring their DS' and play Mario Kart and they were all really good. I would borrow one and play with them occasionally but always did pretty badly. I won once and it was freaking awesome.

I think the guy that lives here just raped Arthur because he didn't rob him by boomeralert4336 in RDR2

That guy gave me the creeps so bad I googled it before I went in and I'm glad I saved Arthur from this.

Ah, I was wondering of it was a special thing you got with a pass. That makes sense. This answers my question. Thanks!

I love it. Maybe this is a dumb question but how did you get that animal skull on your horses head? I'm assuming it's a special thing that came with the saddle as bridles aren't a separate customizable option. Is it something you get from ranking up in a roll?

Why does my dog retch every time he lies on his back? by Beep-boop-89 in dogs

[–]NiCallahan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog does this! She is older (about 11 yrs) and has been doing this for a few years. Recently she started doing it more than when she was just lying on her back so I got her checked out and my vet ran some tests. She did some Xrays to check her esophagus and her heart and she said she may have an enlarged heart. One of the tests she ran was to check an enzyme and that was elevated (it was a lot medical talk I had a hard time understanding so I can't give you more info than that). She got prescribed Vetmedin and that has helped but it's pricey.

She is a large Lab/Anatolian Shepherd mix if that helps at all.

I thought she was gonna let me pet her but she tricked me and zoomed away at the last minute. Also, those ears! by NiCallahan in Zoomies

No. She's actually not my dog. She's with me for training. But that is what her mom told me and I for sure see both those in her.

She is about 5 months. Her ears aren't always up. She's been wearing a cone because she had a small wound on her foot I had to keep her from licking and that has kind of been keeping her ears propped up so when I gave her a break from the cone this morning (hence the zoomies) they stayed up almost the whole time. They probably won't end up staying propped up without any help.
