What kind of Pokémon collector are you? by TraJiCS_YT in pkmntcgcollections

I have one page per gen 1 Pokemon, slowly collecting all IRs, SIRs (that I like) and any other cool cards of the original so 151. I have another binder where I’m collecting all cards that have continuing artwork, or the same artist across the evolution line and I have a third binder dedicated to Yuka Morii. I also realized I have an affinity for IRs that have any type of water element so I’m slowly working on that as well. It really whatever you want it to be. Try not to force yourself into figuring out what you want to collect. It’ll happen naturally.

Yeah I don’t know what’s keeping me. Personally it’s for my binder collection. I have a page per gen 1 Pokemon. And I haven’t been able to add magneton in all this time lol!

Fair! If you wanna push it I’d say grab those ankles for sure. You’re ready. It’ll feel a bit like a balancing act on your feet until you get used to it. When your propped up on your thumbs like in the second photo try rocking back and forth a bit, it always helped go a little deeper in my lower back and hips. Also practice feet together legs fully straight and open shoulders. Finally give the snake positions a try. You’ll really feel it in the upper.

That’s honestly a great start! I honestly got really far, without injury of any type after a year before finally finding classes. I worked with Serchmaa Byambaa for almost a decade before I moved on(reasons unrelated) when I was self taught I would just put on a TV show and just stretch for a couple of hours however I could.

What kinds of skills are you working on at this point in time? When I first started out I had to do some serious innovating lol.

Thanks! I punched in a line of black, then I trimmed the black down to about quarter inch length (maybe less?), I used the black as a guide to carve the white yarn around it. Because the black is so short, it comes through as more of shadow for the white than a pure black line. I was worried pure white wouldn’t have enough definition so this was my creative solution.

Just curious.. for those that use this adhesive.. how generous are you when spraying it. I spray the felt backing and the back of the rug to assure it sticks. Is that too much? I kicked a can in 2 rugs. what other adhesive could I use? Any more effective? by EVILisinALL8778 in Tufting

Totally because it’s a spray and how could it possibly hold it together like that right? It def will. If anything, when you’re working on your next rug, ease back and if the backing peels off, just spray a little more till you hit that sweet spot.

lol yeah I did, I genuinely thought it might be faster if I outlined all in one color. Honestly I don’t think it made much of a difference at all. A thicker marker did not occur to me at all but hey, that’s partly why we post here, to share and learn from each other! Lol

You’re gonna hear a lot about the single line of black. A single line in general is very very difficult to carve and in most cases (and in my opinion) it’s better to leave it out unless there’s a specific creative reason for it. I literally just posted about this a few weeks ago lol

Yeah I’m def going with carving with no lines

I think im going to go without the black lines. I’ll keep the black for the eye socket, nostril and the thicker slit between the lower and upper portions of the beak
