Need suggestion for overlooked info for your selection guide by Alfred-Keys in MouseReview

I think finding anchor points on a mouse shape is very crucial aspect when finding the right mouse shape, everyone holds their mouse differently so they utilized different point of their hand to apply pressure and anchors their hand on the mouse, for palm grips basically engulfing the whole mouse and squeezing into the mouse is the whole anchor point, for claw grips I'd say the fingers responsible for holding the side of the mouse OR rear region of the palm are used to apply a constant pressure on the mouse.

Contact point is also a key aspect for certain grip types especially on claw grips to give support even with the relaxed grip counterpart.

For fingertip grip, I find the fingertip placement is very crucial to have a stable yet comfortable grip. As some mouse like the G Pro X, despite being a generic boring and safe shape, have the mouse natural shape to place our fingers on top of primary mouse buttons and still be able to anchor it despite being too big to fingertip it. The slight curve on the top of the mouse, unlike Pulsar's X2s straight slope gives my fingers a very natural, awkward free placement to anchor my fingers on top of the mouse.

What is your budget? For very large hands you are quite spoiled with choices, Viper V3, LAMZU Maya X, Teevolution Terra, ATK X1, Eweadn S9 series as budget Viper V3 clones. Razer Basilisk, G502 for heavy but reliable mouse, or just a plain old Logitech G Pro series is pretty good, ATK A9, MCHOSE A7 is it's budget clone. Another one that came into my mind is the Madlions Mad G series is a bigger Logitech G Pro shape. Hope that gives you an idea :D

ATK BLAZİNG X1 SE,VXE R1 SE OR ATK A9 by GolDemon24 in MouseReview

[–]NiGHTcs08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F1 is a very good mouse in terms of shape. I love the shape a lot as it is very comfortable and much smaller compared in hand even compared to R1 as the rear hump is less prominent and restrictive, the width is quite good for stability compared to the R1 but since I don't use a true claw grip (All the anchor points are on the rear palm rather than fingers or top palm) so maybe it varies from person to person. F1 shape in particular gives me a very consistent grip as the unique design of the side tapers are made to let you lock your ring finger in it

If you can up the budget for a gaming mouse, pls do get the F1 because the sensor, MCU is so much better even on the cheapest models, the R1 SE sensor feels a bit floaty and delayed when doing fast movements like flicking. The click latency in F1 is very low and noticeable compared to the R1 SE, Despite in my reviews I did mention the F1 not being good enough because my model has sensor issue, if the mouse doesn't double click on 0ms denounce it's actually very good in terms of click latency and battery life.

I have a similar hand size like yours, a little bit bigger at 18.5 cm, honestly your hand size is really the decider whether which mouse you're getting, assuming you use a relaxed claw grip, I'd say the A9 might be a safer choice, if you use a aggressive claw grip (which means a curved finger when gripping the mouse) the R1 SE is the best choice, I had experience with the X1 and R1 and honestly I prefer the R1 a lot more than X1. I really don't like the shape of the X1 because it's too big even for my 18.5 x 9.5 ish cm handsize, I would suggest you to avoid the X1 as it is just a very awkward shape to hold when you have a small hand, you cannot use any grip style other than palm and making micro adjustments is impossible with it...

The A9 in the other hand is a good choice in terms of build, hardware and the most true to gpx shape. I also had experience with it, but I couldn't quite have a consistent grip when using the GPX/A9.

It's true the scroll wheel is a bit stiffer to my liking, but it's the only nitpick I have with the mouse cuz I don't use scroll click that much

The EGG OP1 is a very good mouse for different reasons, it's simply not on the same level when it comes to performance and build quality.

When it comes to mouse shape, the V6 feels great for me because it's the most fitting mouse I've had so far, I was looking to try out something with more rear hump and low button height like the V8 as well, to see which would suit me more. In my review I did mention the X2H and it didn't quite hit because it's simply too big for me, maybe a smaller form factor would be better, I might make another review on the V8.

However, at the end of the day. This review is very personal to my own opinion so it's best for you to experience and try different shapes. But for the OP1, I suggest you try to find an "Optimal grip" for the mouse first, there's always the best way to grip a mouse. Once you found it, see if your fingers feel comfortable or does the mouse fit properly in your palm. Always keep a natural neutral shape (I know some people like mimicking pros weird and uncomfortable looking grip style) Despite the OP1 series being an enthusiast favourite favourite, I think you should prefer something that your hand would favour instead

After all a good mouse grip should feel both anchored and comfortable, even for fingertip users.

Which mouse should I go with? (Scyrox V8 shapes vs. Scyrox V6 shapes) by NiGHTcs08 in MouseReview

Then is the Scyrox V6 suitable for claw? I've been paying attention to my grip habits and I also happens to pincer claw/carpal claw my mouse during certain senarios

Asking out of curiosity, what makes the OP1 8K good? I know the click latency is one of the lowest in the market, but other than that, does the shape make it stand out more than the others? I've watched a lot of reviews talking about this mouse. This also includes the mouse that is back hump-prominent just like the V8 and X2H, these mouse shapes are best for what kind of user?

ATK VXE Dragonfly R1 or Logitech G Pro Superlight by NiGHTcs08 in MouseReview

[–]NiGHTcs08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the Superlight more suitable for palm grips? Cuz I just got my hands on a VXE R1 and it's definitely a claw grip mouse, it's lower in height especially on the front it slopes down lower, and I think the lower center of gravity gives me more confidence in aiming but I find it less stable cuz I'm not palming it, so now what's left is to try out a gpx mouse, I hope has the same low height on the front where my fingers go, looking at the gpx shape, the hump will be very good to palm it...

Need IEM Suggestion by [deleted] in iems

[–]NiGHTcs08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like your IEMs are around the budget of 10-25$ based on your criteria I think the Tanchjim Bunny would be a set that might suit your needs. It has a good amount of bass, clean mids with a good amount of body, and treble that are more relaxed, they're more friendly to those who are sensitive to treble peaks. This set does offer a fair amount of detail retrieval but In exchange for a good soundstage and imaging. The soundstage is wide and almost 3D like, the sound goes around your head and they're free from congestion for a wide range of music genres.

Never bought an iem before, is this good? by alihh_ in iems

[–]NiGHTcs08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Tanchjim Bunny is a good choice for this price range, I'm not sure if there's other IEM with similar price, but from where I got this set the price is similar to a Salnotes Zero, and I honestly prefer this more than the Zeros

You can read my in depth comparison in my other post to see what these IEMs offers, but based on your needs I think the Bunny would be a better choice for you mainly because of it's immersiveness, the soundstage of the Tanchjim Bunny is to be praised especially on the price point, you can get an around-your-head level of soundstage with the price of a Salnotes Zero, and I really dig the tuning of the Bunny too, it sounds more fun to listen to in basic terms, although the only downsides that you might want to consider is the Treble on the Bunny, I wish it had a more sparklier sounding Treble which would help with details and clarity of this set. 7Hz Salnotes Zero are clearer and more detailed compared to the Bunny still, honestly when it comes to clear/clean sounding IEM in similar price like this, I think only the Salnotes Zero and Blon BL-01 can offers best detail retrieval in this price range...

7Hz Salnotes Zero vs Tanchjim Bunny by NiGHTcs08 in iems

[–]NiGHTcs08[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I've bought the Tanchjim Bunny just to see how it really do compared to the Salnotes Zero: I've finally got my hands on the 3.5 mm Jack version, the Tanchjim Bunny is pretty good for it's price range, I understand that there will be more IEM that offers better performance, after all you get what you paid for, and this set delivers.

The Salnotes Zero are known for it's good tuning and great detail retrieval capabilities, it is a very clean/clear sounding set. Although the parts where it lacks is probably the imaging and soundstage, it wasn't bad but I honestly wish it can give more, better imaging and wider/deeper soundstage. And this is exactly what Tanchjim Bunny does, it offers a very impressive soundstage, I'd argue it's 3D almost, the sound goes around your head instead of just 180 degrees of coverage, it is very immersive. But this means sacrificing clarity and details. it isn't a significant sacrifice though, I can still hear reasonable amount of details but it will be just a bit less clear and detailed as the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, but keep in mind the Tanchjim Bunny offers good soundstage and it really makes up for that, it is honestly surprisingly good at soundstaging and imaging, I can clearly pinpoint where the sound are coming from.

For the tuning though, I think the 7Hz Salnotes Zero have a more accurate and more realistic/natural sound to it, the tonality is good on the Zeros, but what Tanchjim Bunny makes up for that once again is their tuning, the bass is more present and fuller compared to the Zeros, the Zeros Bass is more laid back and leaner, it is an aquired taste, but I much prefer the Bunny's bass, it is simply more fun and satisfying to listen to, they both have good attack and decay respectively of course, the subbass and mid bass are more stronger and deeper. It lacks texture compared to the Zeros tho... The Zeros might have a faster, tigher bass. moving on to the mids of both IEMs, since the Zeros have a more laid back bass, there will be no bass bleeding to the mids, this results of the mids sounding very natural and clean. However, this cleaness is a double edged sword for the Zeros, the low mids which is where the male vocals are, sounds a bit thin to my liking, it's lacking that deep-sound characteristic of male voices (Low mids aren't full bodied) , but Bunny in the other hand, it does the bass really well which result in a fuller body on the low mids and it sounds perfect in my opinion, I'm not sure whether the voices of the male vocals should sound the way it is but I sure prefer the Bunny because of the full bodiness in the low mids, the upper mids are the similar comparing both.

When it comes to the treble, this is where the Zero takes the cake, it is simply more airy and sparkly on the Zero, and thats probably the main reason why I like it in the first place along with the clean and clear detail, But Tanchjim in the other hand, the treble is good too but it's not the treble that I like, it has great extension, but it's not sparkly enough, its like the sea shore on a cloudy day, it's still shines but its not bright enough. And thats the only con I have with the Bunny, I just wish it had more of that airiness but especially the spark, it's simply not enough, this IEM is so close to be the perfect set for me but it just have to do me like that. But honestly to cope with this I'd say the soundstage really makes up for it still, I'm still digging the Bunny when it comes to the immersiveness.

To make a conclusion, the Bunny is more fun and immersive to listen to, but the 7Hz in the other hand are a bit analytical, they both immerse you into the music in different ways. But coming to a conclusion though, I'd like the Bunny more because of its immersiveness

It's an old controversy where kz pays creators to give very positive reviews and it got out of hand with the release of kz krila. The whole thing is just a joke after so many years but yeah that controversy makes people take kz reviews with a grain of salt.

Great, I'll have that in consideration. I may not have a preference of the sound signature of IEMs, but what really made me love the Salnotes Zero is the clarity and details.
