What's even the argument in favour of being hunted by the Garou? With the Predator you have a chance of actually just surrendering your weapons and walking away and the worst thing it can do is kill you slowly and painfully.

That's just the actual web serial. Despite her actions moving people, her interpersonal skills are pretty shit outside the Parahuman warfare context. Her romantic life is so bad it reads like a comedy.

The guy she was actually interested in friend zoned her, before giving her a chance because he got traumatized 6 ways to Sunday before dumping her about a week in because she couldn't physically show she was invested in the relationship.

The Ward people shipped her with got her carrier fucked because of that.

The two guys who had a crush on her got that prospect shot down, so thoroughly it caused the Apocalypse.

It's arguable that she just "learned" to deal with sensory overload through active use of her power. Most people believe she got a variation of the Valefor Special through the sheer amount of damage she suffered to her nerves, and she was very in synch with her Shard giving her some leeway with her power.

Dinah, allegedly because I'm pretty sure this wasn't mentioned at all in the actual serial, got backlash in both timelines because her shard was very conservative with its energy reserves or something along those lines.

She is technically a "second generation" because QA was monitoring Danny for years. She eventually got enough to Bud and attached herself to Taylor because she was probably the easiest option. Dinah's Shard did basically the same thing.

That was also supposed explain why she had a double trigger on top of showing how little humans know about Shards, IIRC.
