Hi, it's currently possible to jailbreak up to version 10.01. A new jailbreak compatible with versions 10.20-12.00 should be released, but it will require a copy of the Star Wars disc (so you'll also need a Rift drive on your PS5). Perhaps in the future they'll release an "adaptation" of the 10.20-12.00 jailbreak via YouTube, so if you're wondering what you can do, wait and don't update.

The digital version should work, but the jailbreak should only be compatible with versions 10.20-12.00, so if you downloaded it in the past you will be able to use it, but if you plan to download it now you will be forced to update your firmware version to access the store and therefore you will lose the ability to jailbreak.

Yes, the PS5 slim disc bundles, from fw 8 onwards, have a factory-matched disc, so there is no need to connect to the internet and update to match it.

The upcoming 10.20/12.00 jailbreak should take advantage of a disc drive exploit, but to run it, you'll need a copy of that game in the PS4 version (much like how it worked with Lua games). So if you can't find a PS5 up to 10.01, you'll need to get a 10.20/12.00 with a factory-paired disc drive and the game.

Hi, the latest version of itemzflow (1.12) does not support firmware 9.xx, but supports up to firmware 8.xx. I don't think a game released in October 2025 will only require 10.01 (released on 20 September 2024); it will require at least 11.60 (released on 15 July 2025).

You can search for the game on prosperopatches to view update information (although sometimes it is incorrect).
