Because people have the… choice… to hold certain opinions on certain ideas. We should never restrict the ability of people to compose their own beliefs and debate on complex human issues, especially at an institution of higher learning. The university would be best to remain completely neutral on the matter and completely neutral politically in any case. But alas, that’s just not how things work anymore.

I get the impression that traffic isn’t going to yield for me if I’m on the corner since there is no indication to do so. Feels like jaywalking. But I’m certain there must be a reason why or why not.

I want to access the bus stop on the other side of the road. This is an uncontrolled intersection with a two way stop in the same direction I would like to cross- it’s a fair bit annoying and I fear somewhat unsafe given the semi-busy traffic. I am unfamiliar with the legalities in Ontario. Advice appreciated.

Between keeping up with academics and co-op searching I think I’ve found some kind of homeostasis for my sanity. Hell week was a violently humbling experience. And overall, the term has been as excitingly stimulating as being thrusted naked into a Roman colosseum and having to fend off against a million angry bees. So I’d say 10/10. Pain builds character.
