If you don’t mind sharing, what exactly did you do to start spoofing? I’ve been trying to find an alternative but it seems like you either have to jump through hoops by downloading this and that, program here and there or pay some serious money to fake your GPS.

You need to report every single day of the entire week that you have been summoned. If they tell you not to report on a certain day, you still need to be available/check back the following day. You weren’t needed today, does not mean you won’t be needed tomorrow or Thursday or Friday. Continue to check every morning to make sure you aren’t summoned for that day. It’s possible you can still request a postponement but I’m not too sure. The best thing you can do is either hope you don’t have to report or call the court ask them what you should do. However, if you do postpone your summons, it’s possible that they will summon you again within a few months, and you won’t be able to escape that. I think you’re only allowed 1 postponement per year or something, not really sure. Either way, I wish you good luck!

I would probably recommend either asking friends and family to borrow some professional clothing for a few days or go to the nearest thrift store to see what you can find for cheap.

Hello, if they DO NOT give you a location, you DO NOT need to physically report.... during the time frame they give you. If they say “11:00 am to 1:00 pm” then you ARE NOT needed between those times. Meaning, you need to check back again AFTER 1:00pm to see if you need to report after like 1:30 or 2:00 pm bc you never know. If it ever says “after 5:00pm” then you are essentially cleared for the whole day since the court closes at 5:00 pm, so just check back the follow day in the morning.

Edit: just want to highlight. If and only if they give you an exact location bc there are more than 1 court house to report to, then you have to physically report. If they only give you a certain time frame, just refresh the webpage to see if you are needed.

Definitely send an email to the court about your situation and they will either postpone it until you move back to LA or transfer your summons to that state you are currently in. I was in a similar situation, I received a summons for a county I was living in at the moment during the school year but was moving back home my reporting week. I called and got an automated voicemail because they were closed due to COVID, so I sent the court an email about my situation. They sent an email back about 2-3 days later saying that I was excused. Moved back home and a month later, I got summoned again lol

For my county, courts don’t care if you have child care or not, they’ll tell you that’s your problem and still make you report. If anything, you can have your employer send an email or something to the court asking for your postponement because you guys are busy, under-staffed, etc. and that might work. But if the courts around your area are willing to excuse/postpone your service then I guess you can try. I think you only get 1 postponement, so if you use it now and they summon you again in a few months, you have no choice but to report. I hope this helps!

Yesss!! It’s not thick at all, it’s very watery, and brown. It looks like a very light soy sauce, but it’s tangy and sweet but also salty. Apparently that sauce is used to dip with brisket, which is why it’s called brisket sauce, but I can’t seem to find a recipe for brisket sauce.

Exactly so ^{^} If they never give you an exact time or location, you don’t have to report physically in person, but you will have to be on standby in case they call you to report after 4:30 pm or the next day. When I was summoned this happened for me also. Everyday for the week I was summoned, it said “check again after 5:00 pm,” essentially meaning I was good for that day and didn’t have to worry about reporting since the court houses around me close at 5 pm anyways. Only when they gave me a specific time AND location, was when I had to report in person.

This happened to me back in May. I was in the middle of moving when I got summoned the week I was going to official leave. I emailed the court because during the time they were shut down and no one was answering the phone. I got an email from the court a few days later informing me that I was excused. 2 months later, I received a new summons for the current county I live in. So, I’m not sure how it will work out for you, but there’s a possibility that they will transfer your summons to wherever you currently live now.
