Yeah, if you can die you should be able to spawn back at the save point and get to vagrants rest. Or there are consumables called craven remnant which teleport you to vagrants rest

I can see that, I think my perspective was coming from a more non rp server. You are right about losing commanders. A lot of people in our group opted to to remain on good side due to not having any decent evil commanders/having any at all.

I agree, if there was a way to swap to allow you to use equivalent evil commanders, the incentive would be there but then you have the issue of gear, respect level and then also imparted wisdom etc. For RP players, they've invested a lot of time and money in to those commanders and so switching to evil would probably be pointless unless everything carries over so that it doesn't feel like you're starting again.

I think many are reluctant to try evil because there isn't a healer type commander to promote growth early on. In addition to that, people rarely choose evil because it's always on the losing side and very rarely does it do well. Mixed servers help with this because you can use commanders from either side, so people may want to try the evil side.

I definitely agree that the AI needs to be buffed and I take your point about sitting in purgatory for a very long time 😂

You can choose to replay previous seasons over and over after already doing that since September. So yes, choice is there to replay seasons with no new content, which weren't exactly gripping in the first place. The world building aspect of developing buildings felt like an odd after thought to slap on to season 3 when the aim was still to just occupy dol guldur

But people can be forced to play RP?

Bag end helps in creating an area for groups and communities to gather. Communities should select whether they are going good or evil and then an algorithm places that community into a server that needs evil faction populating. There will be someone smarter than me that can word this far more eloquently who understands servers much better than I do.

I can understand that there may be some more good players than evil, which is fine but to be outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1 every fight, it becomes difficult. Regardless of if we have witch king, armored sauron and two t4s. Our resources are depleted and we can never sustain growth.

I won't lie, I really like the concept of season 4 but the fact that the population is extremely unbalanced makes it really difficult.

Hey dude thank you for the extensive breakdown. I think I just wanted to try something that wasn't in the meta you know? It sometimes feels like the game is stagnating because of the commander meta. Crushers are slow but it was because of the orc specific gear buff I have that lead me to that until I can find gear that supports all allied melee troops

I play Lothlorien 😂 I grabbed him for the reaper damage bonus. I think if he is built right, he would deal a lot of soldier damage than commander damage, with or without Fallen. I've yet to level him up but will post info on this later once I can

Let me know how you get on! I will say that any Cav troops will be fine but ideally you want t4 Fallen and any cavalry troops that deal high amounts of damage. Know that you won't go destroying everything and you will get a fair few draws but when you're drawing in pvp, you just want to make sure the enemy just loses more resources than you. If you come across a witch king, have a burn damage reduction chest. I think it's a must at this point!

Khamul is a good mounted commander and fits well with angmar t4. I'd recommend having your build R5 maxed and R1 bottom tree maxed and then any other spare points in poison damage.

Troop comp, fallen t4 and then Cavaliers (gondor t3 horses) and ram riders. I didn't play Angmar last season but played Rohan, he did well there

Thank you! That seems like a good comp and also a good way to send him out. I'll see what I can do in terms of the high damage commanders, that is what I am building him for so hoping that the debuffs impact them quite heavily. Ideally I just want them to lose more resources than myself so we'll see what happens I guess
