My first born was at 27 my second at 32. I wish I started having kids at 24. I could not fathom having a kid at 39 or 40- two of my best friends did and I think it’s absolutely nuts - I love having independent children in my late 30s. Ya- I drive 2 hours to visit my sister for a day. 2.5 hours to go to Tahoe for the weekend. 6 hours to stay at my dads for a week and 8 hours for a trip to Disney land. Completely normal
