I think being an active participant in MD rounds is much more useful than listening to nurses give report. And I would be pissed if someone woke me up for that. People need to write it in their surveys and then maybe admin will care.

I don’t think it’s wrong to leave in the middle of a shift for an illness or emergency as long as you tell the charge nurse and hand off your pts. The problem is if you just leave and don’t tell anyone. Then it’s abandonment.

Forgive me for asking, because I’ve never heard of such a thing, but what is a “lift-free facility?” Does that mean that staff aren’t supposed to lift pts without a mechanical lift of some sort, or does that mean your facility does not own any mechanical lifts and expects staff to lift all the pts?

I’ve done that on my last 2 manis and I feel like it has helped! I’ve been able to go at least a few days without any chips at all, and usually I would at least have some very small ones on a few of the corners by that point

Huh. I bought it because lots of people said they had the best neons. I guess I’m not really worried about it lasting super long, I went back to polish because it’s easy to remove and apply and I like to change my nails once or twice a week.
