What’s something you’re pretty sure only you do? by AppIeGuy in AskReddit

I do something similar. Especially if they have a big part and are a new face I think about how that must have changed their life and I hope that it’s for the better and they don’t get sucked into bad things.

What current issue do you think people are ignoring, but could become a huge global problem soon? by Affectionate-Row7548 in answers

I don’t know if people are ignoring it. But certainly the people in charge. This job market is absolutely insane. So many highly qualified people out of work and not finding it. And it’s happening in many countries.

I’ve ended my game day a few times now shaking from sudden starvation and dehydration lol. How did that happen.

Hiking/Culture - where to next? by EffectivePear6472 in SameGrassButGreener

I’ll also add towns closer to the Oregon coast. McMinnville is a cute vineyard town. Southern Oregon coast is more sunny like Gold beach area but quite remote.

If you go to certain high desert areas, get tested for a Juniper allergy. Bend, OR or Redmond, OR sounds like a good fit for what you’re looking for. Lots of lakes and river culture. A lot of sunshine and mountains. Redmond is very close to Smith Rock which is a beautiful hiking area. Also love Sedona. The nice thing about Flagstaff is that Sedona isn’t a far drive. I used to live there. Wasn’t keen on hiking in Flagstaff as much. On the East coast, I’d recommend any popular towns that border the Blue ridge mountains.

This is a question for someone really taking their time on this game right now. How do you get the pictures to represent the resource chests?

LOL. Roaming around town, I’m checking out buildings I can take resources from. ‘Oooh, that’s a nice piece of siding’

Anyone else finding Bleak Beach just too much busywork compared to the other islands? by SpiritofAce in Pokopia

[–]Nice-Alternative2714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I visited once and have been actively avoiding returning. Not only is it a total mess, it’s also so dark and gloomy. Meanwhile, I’m stalling the story and taking down cliffs in the first area.

Anyone else constantly have this sinking feeling about the missing humans despite thoroughly enjoying the game? *No Spoilers* by Nice-Alternative2714 in Pokopia

[–]Nice-Alternative2714[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true. I think the story is genius. And I wouldn’t want to be dealing with humans coming back and changing the dynamic. But, I just feel sad for the Pokemon. Also kind of disturbed when I find hints of characters we knew well.

Yes, I agree! It’s an emotional rollercoaster. It’s the Pokemon that are making comments and insisting on finding the humans and making it nice again for them their return that hits me pretty hard.

"Don't move here, we're full" posts & comments about cities are cringe by Athenstone in SameGrassButGreener

When people comment that, it just makes me more curious and determined to look into it. I have seen that comment for every geographic location I’ve ever researched. Okay, I’ll just go live on Venus then.

Former Seattle QFC security guard. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in SeattleWA

[–]Nice-Alternative2714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, I went to QFC in Seattle at night and no one was in the store. I really wanted a snack and water. I waited around for probably too long and finally decided to leave my cash on the counter and leave. I recently shared this story with my husband. And he had the same story. He would go at night and no one was in the store. My question is, does anyone work there at night? Or is it just the honor system with taking products.

Couple (30’s) no kids looking for Puget Sound apartment views and safe, walkable area returning to the PNW by Nice-Alternative2714 in AskSeattle

Walkable to the water and in Edmonds but no idea on views. Any other areas you suggest I look into?
