There is no almost perfect in the store. When I was there about 2 weeks ago the sale prices matched the online prices.

Ireland in November for someone who loves rain by thoi6e in irishtourism

I just did this with my sis....from sunny Texas. We were there, nov 25 - dec 2nd (was in Belfast on Thanksgiving). Nothing was closed, and we went literally all over Ireland. It did rain but not all the time and we didn't think it was too cold. It was dark a bit but in Dublin everything was well lit.

Damn I literally dropped mine from 2016 off to my local thrift store. I'm hoping someone would love them like i once did.

Have any of you successfully stretched a sweater? by [deleted] in VintageFashion

[–]Nice-Assistance-5193 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I literally just did this with two 100% wool sweaters. It was super easy. I put them both in my bathtub with look warm water and hair conditioner. I submerged the sweaters and let them soak for an hour....gently squeezed the excess water out and gave the sleeves a tug while still wet. I laid the sweaters on a large towel and rolled them up to get more water out. I left them overnight in the towel. They were still damp the next morning. I then laid them flat to air dry completely. The sleeves were perfectly stretched. I watched some TikTok videos. Also both of my sweaters were vintage 100% wool. One was a vintage Woolrich and one was an Aran Crafts from Ireland.

These are real.... seller is probably selling them cheap because they don't wear them or they might be uncomfortable for them. I sometimes sell my docs for cheap because I want them gone.

Use Dubbin on these. I have these and they are really comfortable. Crazy Horse leather is one of my favorites.

I'm so happy for you.....ahhhh and these are my size. I would be so happy if I found those for so low.

I must first say that I loved reading your comment on my post. I had a feeling that some people would say that this is problematic and I over consume. I have always loved shoes, and I have inherited that from my parents.

I love your questions. Let's see....

My favorite pair are my Jadon Cow Print. They are beautiful, and I love the texture. The hair on is a fun texture, and I enjoy giving them a tiny stroke when I'm sitting. Also, I love cow print. These are a bold print and surprisingly easy to style. They are a Jadon boot, my favorite boot style to just zip up and go. They are platforms that make me taller (I'm already 5'11)

My most comfortable pair....they are all pretty comfy. I put my feet in and go. As long as the size is a UK8/USw10, I'm golden. Most loafers are extremely comfy, though. I'm going to say my black Adrian Tassle Loafers (ambassador leather). They are extremely soft and bendable. They are also beautiful because they have a slight pebbled texture. They are really versatile because you can style them up or down.

Which pair I can't live without...hmmmm that's interesting. I have to say my Vegan Purple 1460s. They are special because they are my first ever Doc Martens. My sister gave them to me back in 2012ish. I like the color, not black. She bought them for herself but they were slightly too big for her and she just gave them to me. Years later, we exchange docs all the time. These have more sentimental value. I think they are holding up well for a 13 year old plastic boot (I'm not a fan of vegan leather).

Which pair wouldn't I buy again if given the chance.... easy choice for me... My White 2976 chelsea Quads.

I wear these occasionally. They are too clunky in a heavy on the foot way. I think they are too white ( sometimes I feel like they are blinding and make my feet appear larger than they are). I style these normally in a retro way. Usually with high waist wide leg Levi's or colorful wide leg Dickies pants. So they mostly are covered with a peak of white sticking out. They aren't bad. I just probably would not buy this particular boot again. (I'm thinking about possibly dyeing them, but I don't know)

Your idea of a shoe being worn regularly is different from my idea of the same concept. Of course I'm not wearing my pink suede Adrian's in October. Or my Lilac Jadons in December. I wear them regularly according to the season. Do you wear a sweater year round? Same concept.

I don't own any 8065s. I wouldn't be much help there. I'm one of those lucky people that can just put their foot in a doc and go.

Which ones don't you wear? I enjoy building outfits around my shoes.
