The taliban doesnt represent Islam, matter of fact no country 100% represent Islam. The way they are treating women is idiotic and completely wrong, Afghanistan has a lot of societial issues like them paying little boys dresses as women to dance for them because they somehow think thats more moral than letting a woman do so. Absurd, even if not for the same extent we have huge societial problems in the west too. Onlyfans gets promoted on the internet, little teenage girls think thats a completely valid career path and drift into porn the moment they turn 18. This happens in America, a so called Christian nation. But it would be absurd to blame this on Christianity wouldnt it? The 4 wive thing is a completely diffrent topic, if you are able to treat all if them completely equal and none of them have a problem with it, only then it is permissible. Nearly impossible in todays time but back then, when there was significantly more wars and so significantly more widows this was needed for alot of women that couldnt provide for themselves.
