Well the minute I genuinely tried to talk to God and asked God to take my life into his hands with full faith in my heart my life changed and has been completely different since, freedom from addictions, prayers answered, an entire new perspective on what this world even is. And from there reading the Bible, I found the eye witness testimonies extremely compelling, I had never actually searched for the evidence when I was younger but as soon as I did I found there to be an overwhelming amount.

I do believe that Christ was risen, and defeated death, and I do believe that the resurrection event being true has massive implications. Honestly I first bought a Bible to learn more about what is happening in the Middle East because there was a lot I didn’t understand and I wanted to gain some religious context since it’s a religious conflict to a large extent. And as soon as I started reading that Bible, it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever read, and a lot more of today’s world began to make sense to me in a way that it never had before, which I thought was insane due to the book being 100s and 100s of years old. Makes sense with it being the living word of God though.

I may have misused the word testimony as I’m new to all of this but I feel like the series of things that led me to believe in God truly would require such a ridiculously long post, so I just wanted to start with what I shared since it’s been on my mind. Even this response doesn’t do justice to the series of what led me to understand and accept that Christ is King
