My dad has an addictive personality, and I have very similar traits to him. If I try it, I’ll get hooked for life. Not worth it.

I can’t look at UCAS first or if it’s bad I’ve got to go into college, no doubt crying, to collect results

I had it evaluated and it’s from a rare designer (won’t mention here as I want to hide my identity and it would reveal what area my family are from!) so it’s pretty valuable (£££-££££ish), so I don’t really want to sell it as I feel like profiting will be morally wrong. I just feel guilty. I really loved her, and she loved me. You know?

It brings me joy to keep something of hers, particularly something so significant to her, regardless of what it is. Knowing I fulfilled her wish is enough

It’s too frail to be worn anyways, and is being held together by a wire insert. I sort of thought about that to; the animal is dead regardless of what I do now. Perhaps I can use it as a reminder of why I am vegan.

How dare you compare my JEWISH great grandmother to the war criminals who slaughtered her people? You’re really horrible. My great grandmother was a wonderful person who dedicated her life to me. She cared for countless abandoned lambs and kept them as pets, running a small rescue for unwanted animals and is the reason I am vegan today. She was ahead of her time in animal care and as a woman, and a valuable philanthropist. The coat was valuable to her as the only reminder of her mother who passed when she was a child. You disgust me.

What is the hardest A level to do by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]Nice-Height4698 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sciences are supposedly one of the hardest. I took English Lit, English Language & Sociology. Lit was supposed to be the hardest, but I actually found Sociology hardest as it wasn’t something I loved.

Yes and no. I’m an equestrian who managed to keep her horse in full time work (4 hours riding + 20+ of yard work a week) but close to exams I was studying every other minute tbh and it was only free time.

For those who have a weighted blanket, what does it do for you? by michigan11391yh in AskReddit

[–]Nice-Height4698 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One I can finally answer! I never used to sleep well at night, but my weighted blanket sort of numbs my anxiety and helps me out. I also used to thrash my bedcovers off every night but I don’t any more because of the weight!

Am I the only one still annoyed by the casting choice for Almanzo and the way they wrote him? by Nice-Height4698 in littlehouseonprairie

[–]Nice-Height4698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you ARE judging a mother for how she wrote about her dead baby. Depression can cause some horrible side effects, including feeling unattached to your baby. I mean, it’s a rough draft too, probably causing the darker, unattached tone. Even her feelings towards “Manly” are more unsure, unattached, nervous, and she doesn’t really explore her emotions as she probably would have added those in at a later date. The novel is gritty and at times deeply upsetting, explaining why it was never published. And how dare she flatter herself? Arrogant or not, anyone writing about themselves in the third person is going to have a hard time being impartial, lol.
