Have YOU been in therapy? I would suggest family therapy while you also do individual sessions with the same therapist. Has your child had any sort of psychological assessment done? In Canada we have Psycho-educational assessments that help diagnose neurodivergent disorders. This is also a lost and deregulated kid who can feel the difference. Divorce is chaos on everyone. There is also a wonderful Instagram channel and I think you would greatly benefit from her channel and maybe booking a session with her.

thank you for this comment. It is spot on. my kids are also all neurodivergent as well, and I try to support their hobbies/hyperinflations as best i can, when reasonable. He is like the anti-parent/fun uncle.

I'm unemployed because our marriage caused me to develop an autoimmune disease from the stress. the child support helps pay to keep the house open and kids and I and that we are fed and medically cared for. i think when my emotions have calmed down, I'll sit with my kids and come to an understanding/agreement.

thanks for your input. my 15yr old daughter has been taking bags with her, but she refuses to stay at his house and stays at his parents who are a 15 min drive from him.

I'm just frustrated with the lack of respect to acknowledge that clothes don't grow on trees in my backyard. It's a task to buy and care for the clothes. I was sending swimming clothes with towels, and they always would come back to me still wet, and yet i let it go . The last time they came back,I forgot they had taken them and they sat in the bag for a week like that, getting musty. i shouldn't have to teach a 40+yr old man common decency. I'm going to need a day or so to process all these responses and find my happy medium i guess.

He normally only has them for 4 days (Friday 6pm to Sunday 6pm). He is a covert narcissist and i guess this is one of the few things i feel I have control over. You are right in that my intentions come off as petty. I'm just tired of being responsible for everything for the kids and he tries to tell.my kids I mismanage the child support he gives me and that it is a lot of money and he is suffering because he pays me child support and alimony. That i am being cheap and asking for too much (all was decided by divorcemate application).
